What would degrade the mouse feet faster, something like the skypad or a hardpad?

Do you have a specific hard pad you are referring to? I think it would depend on what material the hard pad is. I personally haven't used hardpads other than the skypad, and I also have the cerapad kin on the way. But my guess it that because the skypad is tempered glass it's really hard and the finish on it is like sand paper so I think it's going to degrade more than anything else. But keep in mind mouse feet are like tires you can always just replace them. It's a matter of when not if
