I don't see them ditching the OLED completely. Like Apple, once they offer it, they need to continue so the OLEd version will most likely release a few months after it. I'm fine with waiting. I can't honestly go back to LCD from the OLED. I play this on the go and it's a major selling point for me to continue roll with the OLED. There's also less stick death/jam on the OLED.

It is extremely likely that it will only be LCD. It's probably gonna be the same quality of the PlayStation Portal though, so even though it's not OLED I still think it's gonna look nice.

The reddit leader is Nintendo. Release Date Mario day 25. March 10th. This is all Nintendo doing their own guerilla marketing. That's why they've allowed all the leaks. We expect it. Some 3rd party are in on it. Mario Odyssey 2 is release game. Hence the Cappy eyes on the logo. Merry Xmas as they reveal on a day when no one is too busy to see the news release!

I'd love to see them actually use the switch screen while docked. It'd be cool if it lit up or something when a friend sent you an invite or message. I think there's some opportunity for Nintendo to increase their advertising too. Allow you to opt in to announcements while docked. Once opted in, periodically it will check for any sort of news or product annoucnements and display them on the screen while docked. Maybe the screen turns on for like 5 minutes or does something to entice the user to turn on the switch and see what's up. Sometimes it can be beneficial to have digital triggers, but I'd like to see them add analog triggers to the joycons. They don't need a lot of travel, just a bit.

While we are talking about the Switch 2 I want to know the memory capacity of the physical game cartridge. Many games of the original Switch we had to download the rest of the game such as MKII, the third Batman Arkham game. Will we be able to transfer all of the Digital games from 1 to 2.

Would you be happy with it being an amalgamation of the Switch and Wii U where you can stream to the dock? Also if Hall effects are in play that could be considered next gen, they said something about a surprise on the top of the joycons when removed from the console, could it be an IR receiver/blaster to improve pointer performance? But it hopefully will give higher specs and if they are contoured that may indicate that additional sensors or larger batteries were installed and they decided that instead of having it uniformly thicker that they would contour it to have better grip. Also Nintendo isn’t exactly the company to look to for next gen gaming, they are going to go with powerful enough to get the job done and an interesting gimmick/method of play to propose

Last year, Nintendo announced a collab between Lego and Mario Kart for 2025. If they’re announcing a new Lego set, then it would make sense that they would be releasing it around the same time as a new MK title. All of this lines up with the speculated launch frame of the Switch 2
