I honestly love mine. I used it to help motivate me for physical therapy in vr. I could hardly walk or stand. After 6 months I was dodging gunfire while shooting people like I used to back when I played paintball and air soft. I love the extra layer of immersion it adds. Directional feedback. Feeling the kick of rifles and pistols on some games. Or where damage is coming from, what kind of damage. Made me a much better player. To the point where in a pvp game where people constantly die, I was able to go many rounds dominating without dying at all. Encouraged me to move a lot more. To not be so lazy. Vr should be about actually moving. I see so many people just standing there in their videos. I was moving like an action hero in a movie, on the days when my body would allow me to do it. Plus, the little bit of added weight helped. I didn’t find it hot, because I tend to wear shorts and run the ac when I play vr. Or crack the door in the the winter. I played when the ac was on the fritz and didn’t find myself getting much hotter than not wearing it. Overall I got way more than my moneys worth. Plus, games that are not supported, still have the directional audio to haptic feedback as an option. Which, I also took advantage of for some 3D movies. There is a dude called tricks or treats, on the discord, who was hosting a movie night. Usually they have profiles you can download they suggest or made specifically for, certain movies. Paired with some haptic headphones and buildings collapsing, or explosions going on, gunfire, added a lot to the experience. Made it more fun. Even regular music can be quite interesting. Techno is the best. Lords of acid, Juno reactor Bible of dreams. I don’t know. I enjoy the vest a lot. Even simple things, like in the game runner, feeling the motor of the bike rev. Or the motor of the planes in world war 2 fighters. Made it way more immersive and intriguing. That, and again, the directional damage. Well worth the money.

When I bought it, before I got it, I was all ready to return it. If I doubted it at all. I went in being an extreme skeptic. So for me to keep it, and give it this review, is something. It was one of the best things I ever got for vr.

Maybe not everyone would respond to it as well as I did. People are different. There are some who don’t like vr. But that’s like he said. Ya kind of got to try it.

Can you try to explain how it feels. Does a shot feel like a tiny pebble was thrown at you? Or is it like a tiny vibration. How intense would you say the effects can be?

Glad that you mentioned there is a $120 overseas return fee on shipping for this vest, how uncomfortably warm it gets after about 20 minutes and how this is basically a high-cost rumblepad. The reason these haven't become popular yet is because they aren't very good except as a sweat jacket.

I didn’t notice the heat, played it for quite some time, and as far as the overseas return, I’m not overseas so not something i even considered.

@@FitProVR what temperature do you keep the room you use this in at? If you keep your home permanently set at 68 F cool, then yes, you'll last longer without a sweat. My room temp sits closer to 76 F and got uncomfortable playing TOTF or Until You Fall after 30 minutes. I live in the USA and it was shipped from Korea, so cost me $120 to return ship to Korea within the allowed 14 day return window. I really could not distinguish pinpoint location rumbles, the woojer vest 3 might be an interesting comparison, but both vests seem about $300 overpriced and return policy not very trial friendly for new gear experiences. Good channel, enjoy the game/fitness reviews and you are my favorite PE coach no matter what the other kids say.
