Very interesting video and it’s definitely given me food for thought as I was looking at buying a used turntable just for my mono vinyls. My other turntables were bought new so I should not have this problem.

Generally speaker, no, you should not. I have seen new cheaper tables where the geometry is screwed up. It is far more common with higher quality turntables where a second party arm is then mounted to it.
