Sadly, I thought this too. However as a small business owner in the UK I bought the .co.uk and .com. I decided only to renew one extension and the first day the other extension lapsed after the renewal period a Chinese company came along and launched their own company off my previously owned domain name. So it's been a nightmare trying to bury their website in SE results. So this time round with my new business - I've bought 11 domain names from a recommended seller for £45. To avoid the hasstles I've had in the past - I'd gladly pay £450 a year! And at least I don't have to compensate by paying extra in marketing.

That stinks. There's no right or wrong and having a couple extensions isn't too big of an expense. But I deal with many small businesses who buy dozens of domains for zero reason whatsoever. They buy domains "similiar" to theirs because godaddy tells them to. It's so frustrating.

I bought 13 in the end for £67 at a yearly renewal price of £245. I wouldn’t have bought that many but I doubled up and bought the ‘mis-spelled’ version too. To be honest I’m thinking big on my new venture so I’m happy with all of this. Thanks for your vids! :-)

FlippingBunny Very cool. As long as you understand the reason behind buying them! Keep me posted on your venture! I hope it’s a huge win! 🙏🤝
