Should You Buy? Moen Magnetix Magnetic Shower Head

I have this, the shower head is great and the magnet system is very convenient. The problem is that the plastic mount is trash, I've had it for two years and the plastic mount cracked and fell/broke off from the wall plumbing. If you can find one without that plastic mount it's worth it

Plastic connectors crack very easily -- just screwing them in, brand new. Moen is a brand name. Obviously they are riding on that, charging a premium, and delivering the cheapest thing possible, because consumers seem to buy anything nowadays. None of Moen's heads on these metal, even the $300+ ones.
