Bought at $50/share in Jan 2024 after it had already rallied 150% in 2023. People thought I was crazy for that. Turns out rallies are easy to sustain if a FCF explosion is what's causing them. The real question is: will it continue? As you mentioned, yes, it will, at least for a while.

This is a cyclical market and to think Nvidia, despite making a great product, will continue to trade at over 60 to 100 P/E ratio into the next year with minuscule dividends is not realistic. It’s been a great run but growth is tapering off and will continue to decline leading to a P/E ration around the 30s at 2.5 to 3 Trillion dollar market cap. Still amazing for where it was 5 years ago.

because its valuation is entirely speculative and their product sucks?*** ***Their AI datacenter GPU's suck. Their midrange gaming GPU's are okay, and their CPU's are good.

Their AI sales are growing well, but the rest of its business hasn't started moving back up in the regular sales cycle as expected. Other semiconductor stocks are having the same issue, since the PC and mobile sales cycle were forecast by many to have turned positive by now. Those forecasts are now being delayed by at least a quarter or two. Those is probably in part because consumers aren't yet fully sold on AI PCs and phones, or are maybe waiting for the second generation before upgrading. It'll come eventually, but you'll have to be patient. I got back into AMD recently, with a pretty small position. I'll add to it if it dips significantly below my buy price, or if forecasted growth increases enough to make it look like more of a bargain.

Most semi conductors were down yesterday and market Is down a little. Nvidia was up last I looked but AMD is a great long term stock. I will buy more if the price falls. They only have a smaller portion of the market as Nvidia has a huge portion but enough for AMD to grow

It's risky, for sure. Like the previous comment said, it you have the ability to hold onto the investment for at least a year or two, even if earnings disappoint in Nov 20, that lessens the risk. One of the biggest risks is probably that they could announce a delay in their expected growth, which would probably cause a temporary selloff (and a buying opportunity).

I think you did the right thing. Nvidia is leading ai into the future with great forward thinking. I see them doing another share split in a few years. I see it being $2000+ in the next 10 years. The market cap is big but earnings are growing and margins are 50%+ possibly could be 70%+ let's see on Nov 20th for the 3rd quarter. Their year end is Jan 2025

To be fair I think a lot of things change for Tesla with Trump in office since he will likely give Elon a regulatory position. But I have found a lot of Parkev s analysis to be fair even though I've bought Tesla. They do have a habit of missing deadlines but I feel as if the extra leg up from the government they'll get could change things

Tesla still has a high PE right now so it can still drop a lot. The only reason it jumped is because of Trump, not company performance. BIG difference. A lot of people sold off today because of the CPI report tomorrow. It's a very volatile stock regardless of the increase.
