Should you Buy or Rent When Relocating to Gainesville FL

I've owned three homes in Gainesville. I was younger, working and had energy; homes and the price of upgrades were way cheaper. Now I'm retired, planning on returning to Gainesville but I won't buy. I don't need the hassle. A simple life in an apartment complex where everything is taken care of and where there's a pool I don't have to skim, clean or fix!. Definately the apartment life for me. Plus, if I want to travel extensively or relocate again....easily achieved without a house to sell.

I know cost of living high and stuff in gainesville i currently be driving up weekly from ocala and i still plan to move to gainesville in next year or 2

Great video Donavan! Very helpful reminders. Our biggest challenge is seeing the houses we like sell for outside our price range. Knowing that we may have to rent for another year to save up more and be able to compete in this market. 😅

With such low supply the vast majority of homes will sell extremely quickly. Many I work with like Haile because of the community atmosphere and the location. Thanks for watching!
