For what I use it for, yes! No regrets at all other than maybe getting the vesa mounted style monitor so I am mount it to a monitor arm. Otherwise, it is incredible and makes editing photos a joy!

@@FatalOnion Thanks for your quick response. I’m on the lookout for a monitor and I’m considering the studio display since my huawei mateview 28.2 4K just died on me. I have Mac studio for personal use and MacBook Pro for work related task. I’m a software engineer so I’d use it for coding and maybe some ocasional retro gaming with emulator and moderate video editing since I also do KZbin just as an occasional hobby.

@@ChrisPTY507 With the color accuracy, it'll make video color correction great. KZbin browsing does look incredible on it too. If you are big into 4k video content, you can really take advantage of it. As for the other activities, I couldn't speak much on. With you already being in the Mac ecosystem, I think it's a no brainer to acquire this monitor. It's so nice to literally "plug and play". No color correcting needed other than applying your Mac preset to the monitor in the display settings.

It's an entusiast monitor. It's definetely not a monitor for professional photographers or videographers (colorists). And as every other monitor, for critical work, it needs occational calibration. Your audio is out of sync.

What monitor would you choose over this monitor, Akyhne? As this was my first real monitor, I find it to be incredible for what I do. I know from reviews and other videos I’ve watched on the web, a lot of higher end photographers and videographers rock the studio display as well. And I appreciate the info! I’m not the best with video editing. So, my audio certainly could be out of sync. 😅 I thought I fixed it and must not have noticed during the playback.

@FatalOnion It depends on your needs. If you are a photographer, I'd choose a monitor for that purpose. From BenQ or Eizo. Maybe Asus. But if you are just a casual user or entusiast, the ASD is good enough. It's just that you can get better displays at the same price, from the other brands, meant for photography. (Video) colorist use much more expensive displays. But for entusiast level, I'd go with an Asus. I won't recommend any displays, but in general, you get what you pay for. Except for the overpriced Apple displays. Especially the XDR, which shouldn't even cost half of what it does, concidering its lackluster performance.
