Brought the DS instead of this, god, the british grind is hard, comparing to the fast grind of US and germany with KVT and Leo2, the british grind is so slow

I have the DS, and really have ti say: its (in my opi ion) by far the worst 10.3 mbt ever made, at 10.0 it was somewhat good, but its laking everywhere except firepower (for 5 rounds, before reload rate drops massively).

@@bfsix_seven_nine_three6279 You know, 4 weeks in playing this thing, now that i have a line up(Bhisma and stomer), It's actually pretty decent, I got used to the mobility and firepower, and my grind has speed up somewhat, still not as fast as KVT and the leo2 though

To note, Gaijin hasn’t given this thing accurate ERA. It’s supposed to be able to defeat 30mm auto-cannon rounds, but the snail told us to sit down and put the kettle on.

If you have an ultrawide monitor the zoom and fov are really good. Combined with thermals I enjoy playing this tank.

@SAKOSNIPER Definitely worth it. Gives you a much greater FOV resulting in far better awareness. If you get an ultrawide peeking corners genuinely feels like cheating. As the other guy said, the challys will still struggle getting into position, especially on CQB maps. But imo I'm willing to play the black night or OES more then my 2a7 purely because the sights are way better.

I love the fact that Gaijin (in the dev for when the TES first arrived) had ROMOR era but they ended up removing the ROMOR name but kept the protection cause they knew it was wrong. The ONLY source for the NERA package being as tough as it is is the designers of said package but doesn't actually state the Chally 2 as a user thus Gaijin will not accept it and won't implement its actual protection.

It's honestly not a terrible tank, It's just way underpowered for it's size. The round you get, the reload with an aced crew and it's ability to survive some abuse makes it a decent tank. I've got it, the DS and the Squadron harrier and they make a pretty good lineup for grinding the british tree.

I played the TES on my way to the black night when that was top tier and I loved it. I just found that every time they would shoot me I’d obliterate them with my reload after their round bounced. However I’ve not played it in a while so it could’ve changed

i have no idea why but i play the 11.3 challengers way better than any Abrams or T series, i think people forget the safe pace of a slow tank much like the tiger 2. i fall victim to waiting so long i turn away and get bored and tiger 2s just magically turn up to shoot me in the back

War Thunder should add an option for british tankers after 8.3 to revive any dead crew member not just once , with tea drinking and if you are out ot fpe you can solve that problem with tea too 😅

I mean if you want to grind the UK techtree, for me 9.3 is much better with khalid and rooikat at much lower BR. Or at least get a DS, ways better than this

I agree i have the khalid and im terrible at tanks but even i have good results in it. I would of gotten the rooikat to help my grind next time it would be on sale if not for its BR changing to 9.7 and the khalid staying at 9.3

Yeah, I bought the DS sometime ago, it's a stuggle bus. Best way to grind the British tech tree is to tailsman the T-90. So basically you need to buy an Indian-operated russian-made vehicle to not be in total pain.

Yeah id say the khalid and rooikat are the way to go for the British grind anyway. I just wish they were still at the same BR simce i was planning on getting the rooikat to help my Britain tank grind, but its 9.7 and the khalid is 9.3 so i think ill wait to see if theres a BR change
