I never had a Digivice before. This will likely be my only one. Didn't get any of the vital bracelet stuff either. I wish there was an english version re-release of the pendulum X. That's the only thing I'm waiting for.

Not only is it the best digivice ever made... but its the best by a LONG SHOT. I especially love that I can keep vibration on and sound off so a 35 year old man doesn't look goofy in public when a battle comes up. I hope they re-release it in other colors, I want a green one. Also I hope they continue on with a D3 color in green, not just Davis and ken....

It's not a virtual pet, it's a quest based game toy like the majority of the Digivice toys.

Best to wait for the release of the second wave as I mentioned in this video. Also I wouldn't recommend using eBay for Japanese releases, proxies are the way to go.

Depends how much you like the other features (such as the SCSA mechanics and colour screen), if you'd prefer story, I'd recommend the Ver15th or Ver Complete.

This one uses an accelerometer instead of the pendulum. It makes the noise but that is an internal dummy that's used for nostalgia. Based on my experience with both the original and the color evolution, the color evolution appears to have better accuracy.

Not perfect at all, put aside the gimmick feature like lights, bgm, the content of gameplay this device offer actually is boring especially for it's price. Go get tamagotchi uni and compare with this digivice interm of price and amount of content, u ll realized this digivice actually not so worth it and bandai actually have capability to make it in much better way at a lower price.

It's hard to compare with the Tamagotchi Uni as one is a virtual pet and the other isn't. I prefer the Digivice, plus the Uni has the issue of content not being available once servers go down eventually. In terms of being a Digivice, this Digivice does a good job of it imo.

​​​​@@LostinTranslationmonI feel that there is much more to improve and as a fan we shouldn't be so easily satisfied by bandai for a product like this. All the collectible items in this digivice serve no function or interaction and it can be done like the way Uni does, that all items can be interacted with. The digivice cut scene doesn't have much meaning but is repetitive and may be replaced with some mini game . The battle is just boring with no stats up or leveling system. The camping, playing dining also just merely for viewing and can't have much interaction. I just spent less than a week completed everything and it's now off inside the box as collector items. In regards UNi,The wifi connection just provides an additional 20% content, which is send heart,DLC and monthly arena. But they have much more items, equipment that can be interacted with; a lot of mini games, that provide different patterns of gameplay, and there is going to have new DLC coming soon next month.unlike what bandai did to digimon, any new content requires you to purchase a new device.Even though the UNI server might go down in 2026, the lifespan that I play with this device is Abt 3 yrs+, compared to a week of this digivice. Just my personal opinion.

Why wouldnt we be? Im a girl and I have all the digivices released so far (except for the Hongkong limited edition ones) and Im not even alone. I have more than just digivices too. What the hell do you think girls are allowed to like?
