I bought my power washer used for 500. Its a honda and way better then that. The best way to start is to go to your local supply store and ask then for help to find the best deals. Thats what i did. Zay I love your videos and learn a lot. Thanks for the videos

Just finished building mine today. 7gpm 100 psi. 200' 5/8 flexible hose. 30-gallon tank. Deep cycle marine battery. My first job is this week, and it will pay for my build. tested today 7gpm jrod dumps to much water. so going to try 4gpm. with the 7gpm jrod it will shoot just short of 40 feet. I think I built a beast. lol And I have a hose reel that hold the two hundred feet of hose.

I use an xjet with the tube in a backpack chemical sprayer only downside is you have to keep refilling it.

X Jet sucks doing a whole house you can’t pull a hot enough mix. It works if you’re in a pinch for something small.

U can put sone type of cover over the pump but i believe its under warranty so if it does go out they will give u another pump i think you can upgrade the gun and get alonger hose if needed also i seen peeople using a pump , back pack sprayer or an xjet to get started. You can also get another tank after your first job so you dont have to refill it as much ,so just upgrade stuff as u get jobs .thats what i plan to do is start out with this system.thabks for the video bud

I just bought one today and found some things I didn't like . One was that the pump goes on and off causing a bad pressure fluctuation up and down. It is very hard to follow a consistent pattern when the pump does that and forces me to use more material trying to correct the inconsistencies. Is there a way to fix that? It would be nice if the pump runs constantly while the wand trigger is active. It seem to happen only using the long throw nozzle. It works well with the fan tip nozzle. I also found out that this particular machine model is not meant for roofs that are steep or those you can't walk on top, as the throw range is not enough to reach te highestpoint of the roof. I couldn't reach the highest point of my roof standing on my ladder at the very edge of my roof. The second thing I didn't like is the tank lid is almost impossible to tread it correctly and get too tight to spin it. Don't know if all of them are like that or is just mine. I even tried to lubricate it with soap straight from the bottle but it doesn't help. I'm considering returning it if I can't solve the pump constant on and off issue.

im 14 and im thinking of buying one of there kits without the tank to use for starting my own pressure washing business since i can fund it with my car detailing business that i make a couple hundred a day doing and im gonna use a big wagon first and build a go cart with my welder and steel tube and then eventually build my own system and get a van

We should link up and pimp this thing out. I think it is a perfect starter kit when you’re start out.

Hey Jay when you are done applying sh do you use the same system and fill it with water to rinse it down? im building one with a 30 gallon and im considering rinsing by having an extra hose connected to the spigot and going into the pump to give it a boost.

Hey great video brother , I was thinking about buying this and I was wondering if the hose is long enough to work with ease on a roof and if that wasn’t the case , where you able to use or add another hose with a hose reel? Thanks in advance

Thanks for your video on the North Satr. I have a question. What kind of surfactant do you use and how much per batch with this machine? I want to buy this little machine and want to get familiar with the materials I will be using plus costs. Also, where do you obtain your bleach in bulk? Thanks in advance!

Can you soft wash by down streaming with a jRod?
@ZayWonderJournal Жыл бұрын
You can soft wash a house with downstreaming but you can pull a strong enough mix from a downstream injector to clean a roof.

Building one that size would probably be about $350 without the frame. It’s definitely worth what’s on it. I wanna get one and just replace the tank and modify it as a starter. I softwash system that you wouldn’t have to refill constantly would be about $5000 new or $3000 used. So this is definitely a bang for its buck.

that company does sell kits without the tank so you could get a bigger tank for it too but building ytour own if it come out cheaper then that would probably be the route to go
