Odin 2 has been awesome. The thing i didn't realize is bezel less isnt for me. 😂 I didn't know I feel claustrophobic not seeing bezels. Its weird but i have to see some bezel lol.

I'm probably going for the mini because I really want something that small that's still powerful, and this is pretty much the only option other than the odin mini, which is bigger and over $100 more. I wish it had that GC color though! It's beautiful. Probably my one disappointment is that I couldn't get a GC mini. We got a Saturn color but not a GC? Who tf was asking for a Saturn color lol.

Same I'm going from 2S to Mini but how does the Mini stack up against 4pro or 5 which one is it closer too,I'm getting it for fzero gx and Metroid prime GC hopefully

At this point I have too many handhelds to not get exactly what I want. All the games for this rp5 will be 4:3 aspect ratio, a BIG 4:3 aspect screen would have had me buying but it was not to be, so I decided it's time for a used steam deck and just go for it. I know the screen is not 4:3 but I will avoid getting the retroid 5+6+7+8+9 all of which get closer to a steam deck, might as well pay the extra £75 and get a used one as an investment.

I haven't bought any of these handhelds yet because nothing was "exactly what I want". I'm pretty happy with the steam deck, but I'm really itching for something small and powerful that I can always have in a pocket. And the retroid mini is what I've been waiting for. 4:3 screen, powerful enough for ps2/gc, and tiny! My dream combo. Plus a clicky dpad on top. I hope it happens for you one day, but my holy grail is here :D But for home use, steam deck pretty much can't be beat.

They will probably bring out the pro a few months later. its worth the wait to first let people review them and checking out if it runs your favorite emulators and games before buying it.

@roderix-dk retroid said no pro model for the rp5..I would guess they would say this so people won't wait for one...I do think we may get a retroid flip 2 with the same specs though ...I'm actually waiting to see what odin does...if odin 3 has snap dragon 4 that would be awesome..only thing is sd4 Costa 250 by itself...odin 3 I'm guessing snap dragon gen 3 and amoled? Either way I wait for now.

@@TheNintenja I'm waiting for a handheld that runs 3ds, gamecube and wii u perfectly for around 200/250. I cant wait on nintendo for playing twilight princess. It would be awesome to play these emulators in atleast 2x native res.

I got RP3+, held off 4pro due to the screen and trigger issues. I want the 5 but I have a feeling it might have some problems too. I'll just wait for the 4 pro to go on sale this black friday, that was the plan after all.

Do they do Black Friday sales? Because I am not a huge fan of how big the 5 got... They should have kept it slim for portability.

@@Lionpigster It is slightly bigger, but not a lot. It just looks big because its bezel less now, huge screen, no black bars under the glass like the 3 and 4. You got 2 hours left to get the 5.

@@toycoma98 the bumps at the backside look so big... It really looks like it is a lot less portable. Also the 2 hours is only for the early bird. You can still preorder after that, but for 5-10 bucks more I think.

Ima get the pocket 4 buttons and grey knobs and triggers with the black retrod 5 and make it look like a black snes edition. Kinda wierd they didn't have a snes and nes colour scheme for these

@TheNintenja I kinda wish they brought back the bright orange game cube controller colour also. And surprised these guys never released the pocket 5 with the classic n64 colour's. Like so much more potential to make this device really shine to many more people. Those n64 colour's really get your attention if you owned one or had a friend who owned one

If you want to play 3DS and NDS the Cube is perfect for that, I've been with it for 1 month, and I think I'll also order the Retroid Pocket Mini, I think it's a good combo the two are small and powerful

Depends on what u want it for honestly.I don't suggest the cube,,snapping cardinals direction analog stick, screen only 4 inches..I got the 4inch screen rgb 30 for 50 on Amazon and it can play up to ps1 for 50 bucks with the screen and analog sticks. Nice vid, I'm not going to preorder. I ordered a white odin 2 at the end of last week after the specs on this came out. I want the extra power and waiting til end of October for rp5 to ship isn't ideal

congrats on the odin 2 purchase, it is a superior product overall but the OLED screen is just too good on the rp5 especially if its close to the RG556 because it blows the Odin 2 screen out the water.

@@StopToBreathe I mainly use an rg556 these days and the oled 5.5 inch screen is definitely great. I guess that's another reason i am hesitant to get the rp5, since it would start getting redundant with the same screen size
