I have th small one and just set it on a thin plastic cutting board. Super portable and you get to keep the small Snackbox. Def the way to go

I hate tiny form factor I want something to sit sturdy in my lap and also not be the size of a stick for the case. half of these people who play on tiny hitboxes play casually and play more modern games where the inputs are super forgiving like strive. I play a mix of both and certain games like kof I need to feel comfortable as possible

you like them (micro buttons) better because they are literal keyboard switches, there is no button mechanism, feels more satisfying to press and the feedback of the red switches they use. arcade buttons dont really feel the same when you push them in or when you are holding them. i have big diy hitbox and another micro (non snackbox) but i bought their keycaps and switches.

@@mengxiong454 I did receive it. Took 5 weeks. It's awesome. Got some different switches to see how they'd feel but I think it's best just to stick with the Kailh Choc reds that come with the thing. They're pretty great. Also of the Micros are available to purchase right now on the website.

Sold out. XL is a good size for me, but I think I gonna buy Razer Kutsune, bigger distribution and trackpad for training mode, but more expensive and only ps5/pc (kinda enougth for mk1 and sf6) and still have to wait for 30 of october.

Wrist pain is normally only a problem on controllers that have a palm rest, since it allows you to put your wrist in a bad position. With this, you're forced to have your hand float over the controller, so that problem goes away.

I bought this. Didn’t like it. You have to manually turn on socd through the app and it reverts if there’s a power cycle. The entire thing is cheap low quality plastics. Feels cheap and low quality, doesn’t feel good on my lap or on a table. I won’t be buying another one. It’s not worth $265+ dollars. I doubt it’s even worth $200.00

@@Saxandfifths i can’t speak for everyone because it’s different for everybody. To me, the Mpress by Arcade Paradise is way superior. The quality is amazing, the response is better. All the parts on the Mpress are super high quality. The buttons are the big ones, socd is a switch you can flip back and forth and not through a phone app. The palm area is bigger and better on the Mpress. The downside might be that the buttons are closer than some people would prefer so it takes a little getting used to. I bought the micro as a cheap alternative for traveling with because I got 2 Mpress Evo gold collectors editions which they don’t make anymore. You’d have to see it and use it in person to understand the superior quality in the Mpress compared to a snackbox.

I don't know what Snackbox Micro YOU bought or where you bought it from, but it's definitely NOT made with "cheap, low quality plastics". It's a very durable arcade controller and doesn't feel remotely cheap. It feels similar to metal. You saying this makes me question if you ever even touched a Snackbox Micro before. You definitely didn't buy it from Junkfood Arcade. You bought a knockoff from ebay, either that or you're an Mpress employee😂

The current version doesn't cost $265 on their web site and you can set the SOCD cleaning mode without the app. The mode saves once you've set it. The non-XL version is a bit too narrow to really be comfortable in my lap, though.
