Any weapon in your hand can be a force multiplier for sure! Especially if you are practiced not to hesitate to use it.

Absolutely carry a blade. Get training. Practice. I can't carry a firearm at work, but no one seems to pay attention to the fixed blade in my pocket.

Just a polite comment. Please no music while people are talking. It's very distracting..! Music is best used for B-Roll. Great video otherwise. 😄

Haha yeah. Agreed. We will have our videographer tone down the music. Sometimes the videos don’t do as well due to people needing more to entertain them during a conversation. 🤷‍♂️ Thank you for the comment!

@@abc4781 When did everyone get so afraid of getting locked up if it means you are still walking and talking? just asking for a friend. Meaning, would you rather survive an attack on you or your loved ones, have a knife and defend yourself or die cause you dont want to risk going to jail. I dont think anyone here is advocating running around stabbing people for no reason.. right?

Yes. It’s an old mindset video we released on Elite You. With all the weird comments we got from the uber gone bad video, I decided to throw some more mindset/conversation videos here to see how they did.

Not trying to be a dick. I’m all about propping my brothers up. Which is why I’m sharing that I believe you’re confusing the meanings of “efficient” and “effective.” Thanks for the great video.
@Skallywagtactical
@Skallywagtactical 25 күн бұрын
Thank you for the comment but can you please elaborate. A knife is an efficient tool in a fight, or self defense. Especially when wielded by someone skilled. "achieving maximum productivity with minimum wasted effort" fits the definition of a knife being a force multiplier. It is an effective self defense tool when used properly. "successful in achieving a desired or intended result". When Jack uses the word efficiency, he means that the blade increases your ability to inflict damage quickly with minimal effort. It fits the definition of the word. It isnt an effective tool within the situations he is speaking of due to the fact that he's speaking as though the situation hasnt concluded yet. So it cant be stated as being effective until the person using the knife successfully defends themself. When MDv uses the word effective, he means the unskilled person using a blade to defend themselves to conclusion would not yield a desired result. So it wouldnt be an effective tool for self defense since there is a lack of skill necessary to successfully achieve the desired result. Again, it seems to fit the definition of the word. Is there another part where we misuse the word efficient/efficiency?

And we appreciate your support and respectful presentation of the correction. I am honestly curious where they misused the words you stated. I felt it was important to reply again because so many feel my responses are aggressive or me being a dick in response. Its not intended to be received that way. Thank you ahead of time for your reply.

Knives are meant to kill in a inefficient way. You have to spill enough blood to stop the attack. Unless you develop concepts from Martial Blade Concepts. Slash motor controls and run for the hills.

It's a self defense tool when shit hits the fan and you can't carry. I train here in europe with some instructors of Scott Babb's libre fighting system. I personally think, a blackjack would be the better tool in most situations, but that is not allowed where i live. A knife is.
