Sir , in Maruti authorized service center , during the service ( 4th Service , 23000kms ) of my Alto K10 2018 model , the mechanic did not do bleeding of Brake Fluid from all 4 tyres , though I showed him your videos as well some other videos on brake fluid bleeding for replacing new brake fluid. Even Service Advisor told me that only refill is done by them. Before this never was brake fluid changed. I was present at service station during my car service. He said that Maruti Authorized Service Station has a standard procedure , all that they do is suck out brake fluid from the reservoir ( approx 150 to 250 ml I guess ) and add in fresh brake fluid from a big size bottle. I watched many other videos of some KZbinrs doing service of their Maruti cars at MASS , they too in their videos showed only suction of old brake fluid from reservoir and refill fresh fluid from big bottle. Same as they did in my car. My question is , is the Maruti Authorized service station trying to fool people or is their system correct.

Thank you sir for sharing valuable information. The basic difference between DOT 3 and DOT4 is boiling point. This is the temperature under which the fluid evaporates and also how prone to absorbing water it is. Both the DOT3 n DOT4 are hygroscopic, it means they absorb water from atmosphere due to its lower boiling point DOT3 is more prone to water absorption. Consequently DOT3 boils under hard breaking much easier.

Thank you Sir. Mere gari mein red light jal Raha tha (brake wala) isiliye Meine apni gari mei dot 4 top up kar diya. Abhi red light nehi jal raha hai... Lekin dot 3 likha tha. Aur 13 saal baad Kiya. Matlab jab se kharida tha tab se. Lekin purane oil ko nehi nikala. Bas direct top up kar diya.Abhi eise hi chalne deta hu... Baad mei do saal k baad oil nikal k top up kar dunga. Any problem?

Maruti ka compair ma Hyundai ka service secdual aacha ha duracation ka mamla ma(long duracation) hoti ha jaha brack oil 20000 km ma change hoti ha to Hyundai ma change kervana nhi hota ha,spark 40000 km ma change kervana hota ha to Hyundai ma 60000 ma change hota ha,maruti 20000 km ma coolant change hota ha to Hyundai ma life time ka laya hota ha(topup)
