My small collection is mostly a mix of AW, JL, GL, and M2s with just a small amount of HWs and Matchboxs. I greatly prefer the more realistic looking cars compared to the more fantastical. Of the Autoworlds, the Vintage Muscles have been my favorites. The 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger has been my favorite casting by AW so far.
@AGrownManWithToys4 ай бұрын
Oh yeah, the Swinger is definitely a great looking casting. I've got a couple color variations and they just look so good.

I love the little details they put on the side of the cards too, little pieces of the casting and real cars history

I haven't seen very many M2 castings lately that I've even considered picking up. I bought a truck from them a while ago and the quality control was just horrible. Hopefully they improved on it this year.

Wobbly wheels and stiff wheels don't cut it for me

I do love Auto World. They give me options for cars that I wouldn't get from Hot Wheels or Matchbox or Maisto. The Dodge Conquest is exactly a perfect example (I'd been looking for its stable mate the Daytona Turbo Z because I've been watching the 80s TV show Hunter., and the Conquest scratched my Dodge itch). Nobody else made the 73 Pontiac GTO, nor those Landau top Cadillacs. Sometimes it's not about hunting or Treasure or Super Treasure. Sometimes, it's all about a Camaro convertible or something else off the main. Great video.

I DO take a 1/64 in my pocket every day as a good luck charm.

Thanks for watching. Auto World is just perfect for finding things nobody else makes. I'd also bring a pocket car with me everywhere but my pockets aren't spacious enough for the jeans I wear. Definitely need to start wearing cargo shorts again when it gets warmer out.

Depends on how and why you collect! I collect Hot wheels JL and some Matchbox. Collectors value I know nothing about AW.
@cpearson73722 ай бұрын
Auto World, and Johnny Lightning are my favorites to collect, but their price had kept me from having my collection being anything but mostly Hotwheels and Matchbox for years. I was finally stable enough in 2018, and began altering my collection to AW and JL, heavy. I also prefer to hold, and inspect, my collection, off the card! However, the cards for Auto World are really great, and so I have left many on card. I love that some cards have the paint color, all cards have historical information, and neat card art. Dang it, I sure wish I could afford 2 of each casting that I like. Then, I could manipulate, and enjoy, off card, the Auto World, and Johnny Lightning, diecasts. My favorites to collect are station wagons, pickups, vans, mustangs(prefer '92 and before) and muscle cars that are pre 2000.😢 This is my first-time watching a video of yours, and it was fun! I enjoyed seeing the vehicles up closer, pieces of your collection, and your enthusiasm 😀
@AGrownManWithToys2 ай бұрын
Oh yeah I love the card art that Auto World does! I actually have a huge box filled with all the peeled cards that I might plaster together one day for a decoration piece. But yes, the information they have on the sides relating to the casting is such a cool touch! Thank you for the comment!
