I love that Command Tale . I purchased a Hot Wheels wall track a few years ago. The tape that was in the box wasn't strong enough to hold it , so I got some 15lb Command tape . Never had a problem of it falling down

I was in kindergarten in 1978 when I was given one just like this. First thing I did was take it apart while riding in the back of my dads pickup during a long trip. I remember playing with the variable inductor coils. I ended up going to college for electrics.

I love the green Silverado how they made the fender flares black like on some of the real ones. My real one was yellow with factory chrome wheels, shortbed stepside. LOVED that truck. Then my Charger R/T bought new in 2017 was GoMango, the orange from that Challenger. I like the vibrant colors too.

It is my opinion that Auto World cars are not worth collecting. Yes, the true scale, and details are extremely nice. But I am so sick and tired of getting cars with defects, and cars that won't roll. A free rolling car is important to. I am so sick of getting cars that won't roll and have other defects. I will not buy Auto World, and Johnny Lightning cars anymore. And especially I warn all collectors, don't even touch the Target exclusive cars. Those cars are low quality, plastic defects. Yet you still pay full Auto World prices for them!

First off .... Great video! I love AW and JL. I am a lifelong lover of squarebody Chevy's and GMC trucks. When I saw my first square Chevy by AW in late 2019, I was hooked. I proceeded to by 2 of every one I could get ever since. Some special exclusive( for 3rd party companies)one's I only have 1 of . I would buy 2 in case I had the urge to open, I'd still have the other still in the blister. I also have M2 and Greenlight and a few HW and Matchbox. Oh and Kaido House is awesome too. Well over 99% of my collection is still carded. I open to remove offending tampos (if I have a double) or rubber bands , then back into the blister. I love the card art , especially AW. Plus I find it easier & quicker to dust off rows and rows of carded on a wall vs. rows and rows of loose cars on a shelf or a cabinet. Collect what and how you like folks . After all, you're the one that has to look at it .

I got one last week from daughter. Mine does not have gold bumpers and radiator. Yes, it is a directional radio. Mine is missing steering wheel and radiator's winged lady. I can make a steering wheel, but wont bother with lady. Also missing a number plate, but i am using the other one to make a copy. I think the dickey seat handle may be in wrong place. Also there should be a small side door to give access to dickey seat.

For me it has to be true to 1/64 scale. I got tired of seeing Hot Wheel cars all different sizes to real life especially their trucks. They're more like 1/72 than 1/64 and their Dodge Charger is trash, it's 1/68. That's probably their way of cost cutting.

Auto World is great. I love their Luxury Cruisers series. I have the Lincoln Mark V, Cadillac El Dorado, and Cadillac Deville. One thing about AW is that they put narrow tires on their muscle cars, which makes them kind of odd looking from the front.

I have the Nova in all white, the Caravan in beige, and the beautiful black '67 Impala. My Daddy had one.

My great aunt gave one to me when I was about 5 (~1991). I just dusted it off and tested it. Still working great even after being knocked around in a toy chest for years. Mine is missing a headlight, the ‘spirit of ecstacy’ hood ornament, and battery cover, but still in decent shape. Made in Japan too, not HK. The wheels also rotate.
