Is the health care really free ? I don’t think so . It’s literally from your taxes they convert in using for your health care services hence the huge taxes incurred in all fronts in Canada

Sister may i chip in a point of correction, health care is free only for non workers, but for workers, its not free just like Germany where i reside, if i check my pay slip, 300€ goes out every month for my health care. U are doing well telling us about canada

Healthcare is not free in Canada, we pay for it with our taxes. Canadians pay 43% of their income on taxes. Unfortunately Healthcare in Canada is pretty grim now with long waits for tests, operations, to see specialists also long waits in emergency can be up to 12 hours and it is hard to get a Doctor, many people have been waiting to get a Doctor for years.
