Numbers are reducing! If we check the stats, there has been a reduction in the number of Applications and Visas because a student is limited to working 20 hours a week and can't afford to pay high rest and cost of living while sharing their room with other 4 people. $2k was the rent of a 4bhk house with 3 washrooms etc and now you get a 1bhk studio apartment. It's crazy how it was shocking for him to know that a private room was available for $600 because usually, that's not the case with everyone.

@@sakshikarira5132 My experience is in engineering, project management, and management information systems (MIS). I took a certificate in MIS to learn more about computer programming. In the past, all international students have equal chances for ITA (invitation to apply) based on their CRS scores. From June 2023, IRCC started category-based Express Entry draws. Canada wants to select those workers in prioritized occupations or French proficient for PR. if you work in a prioritized occupation or French proficient, you receive lower CRS cutoffs (below 500) for ITA. If you don't work in a prioritized occupation or don't know French, your CRS cutoffs will be very high (500 and above). It is very difficult to get over 500 CRS score without the help of PNP, LMIA, or French. Students are in panic and are looking for a province with easier PNP streams for their occupations. No commerce jobs (business admin, international business manager, global business manager, accountant, bookkeeper, financial analyst, supply chain, manager, healthcare admin., etc.) are in the 82 prioritized occupations. They will need PNP for PR.

Hustle also has a limit What about Buying a house and paying mortgage for 20-years.? Expenses.? Taxes.? Family management.? Recession.? You cannot even own land here, it’s just for a lease. Setting up buisness not easy as it requires big investment. The way Canadian government has ripped off immigration, it seems the people and the country will not even recover in nearly 10-years. Also not everybody is running for success. Many are just working to get their and family’s ends meet.

In 2024, IRCC will publish a list of trusted schools. Designated Learning Institutions (DLI) will have two tiers: those with "trusted" designation and those without. Tuition will go up. Housing and part-time jobs in associated towns will face shortages.

Both of you seem highly positive, and I am certainly happy for you. However, your idea of positivity differs from other Indians who want a job in their own professional education and not any other summertime jobs that can keep you floating for a while and / or other manual labor. So, when you say that it is for someone who is willing to struggle, I 100% agree with you there. She has a BCom and is doing a diploma in business management. You would think that she could be working in a bank to get some real Canadian experience for the future if she is trying to immigrate to Canada. However, that is not the case. She is working in BestBuy,(BB) perhaps as a sales rep or an usher, which is where you find most Indian girls doing who work in BB. Others do picking in line. Anyway, the point here is not to get carried away if you already have a good educational background from India and think that it would be a cakewalk in Canada. For young kids just out of school, it could be a great learning experience doing the way she is. In this case, you have the option to complete a bachelor's and Masters here in Canada, and that may stand you good in job prospects in India if you are not considering immigration. If you are considering immigration, it can also be of help to secure entry-level positions in Canada. However, be well prepared to struggle through menial labor-intensive jobs to aid in your survival. Girls do get more soft jobs compared to boys.
