Good to hear about alternatives to return ducts and door undercutting. I didn't know jump ducts were a thing, but it makes sense.

Same! I've yet to install them, but once we remove our unused whole house fan, I'll have a good place to add a jump duct.

Thanks Tyler. Super helpful video. Can you share how to fix the cracks between the window frame and the wall that you found surprising? I realized I had the same problem!

Lots and lots of caulk. For my large window, I think I nearly used a whole tube. Had to build up a few layers to seal it shut.

If you live in a really hot humid environment I would recommend insulating underfloor first, then ceiling and walls at the same time otherwise you will end up like us where you have to roll up ceiling insulation in summer so the heat can escape (ie. the heat comes through the walls and couldn’t leave due to the high rating insulation in the ceiling even with every window and door open and numerous fans working overtime)

Good point! House design and energy efficiency is definitely region dependent. What works in Finland would probably make a house an oven in Ghana.
