Nooo they look tacky cheap common, they already look tacky and dated and you have to replace like for like with in built made to measure fittings if they are irreparable. No need for inbuilt fixtures and fittings and so much effort for a stunning design. You can achieve the exact affect without carpentry and plastering to disguise electrics their is excellent multi-functuonal furniture out there... that offers the same affect. Showrooms are overpriced and this is just a bore off, wasted effort.

It sounds like you made your mind up before hand anyway 😂 Definitely agree that the showrooms are overpriced and some can look tacky. In terms of like for like I disagree, with what we want we wouldn’t get a bigger TV than planned, fireplace repair or replace not a big deal. If we wanted to change it completely take down the frame etc again not an issue. But I do understand in some circumstances it would be annoying and easier other ways. It all depends on the execution. We have something in kind that’s slightly different. When the whole point of the channel is to make memories, have fun and the reason for starting the channel being something sensitive there is no wasted effort.
