Getting a vertical mouse helped me recover from carpal tunnel syndrome. It also helps you get lots of work done in front of the computer and plays a big part in ergonomics. But also note that the ergonomic mouse is not the only solution to help recover from other repetitive strain injuries.

I use it like 2 years. don't buy version with wire, wire is pretty bad. For better accuracy - I advice to use carpet with some support for your wrist, helps a lot. You just put your wrist on support and rotate just hand around wrist. I even get to use to it in computer game RTS, ovary high level. but you need like 1-2 month to get to use to it. 1 week you will have feeling the same as you would use left hand for your mouse, super ennoying. I injured my wrist, because use to play, work, ride bike and doing pull ups at the same time for a wile and couldn't even handle mouse for a minute..... With this type of mouse I had no pain at all. And my wrist was almost fixed in a month. So definitely recommended.

I have owned one for 4 years for CAD work at my job. It has been used 8hrs/5days for those 4 years, and i only have to charge it every 1.5 weeks, roughly. I used a regular mice before and my wrist was starting to feel it. Using this helped tremendously, no wrist feels at all. The only thing is that it started to smell... i took it home and washed it thoroughly... smell persists. May have to buy a new one for that reason, overall not a bad buy. I

I had the same model but from another company, i think they buy the body and put their own electronics in it, however i don't get why the majority of people struggle to be precise with vertical mouses, I've been using them for 8 years now, mostly for gaming, mostly fps games and i will never come back to a normal mouse, even if i get gifted the best mouse on the market i would not use it (I'm 33 now and started playing fps with wolfestein 3d, so I'm not new to using mouses for gaming). I'm precise with it cause i use it almost like a pen, i rest the edge of the wrist and move the mouse with just the fingers, never had drawbacks from it, only advantages. Now I'm using the logitech mx vertical, is a very good mouse but I'm thinking to return to this one cause for gaming was better

On ergonomic mice if you feel the movement from left to right is innacurate means youre doing it wrong, the pressure is in your metatarsal back of the hand, it should move as a whole (wrist) to prevent injury from your carpals. Thats the main point of the mouse to prevent injury so practice moving your wrist as a whole.

Hey did you try using it with a mouse pad? I saw in reviews that the mouse pad helps tremendously with accuracy and control. Also, this is wireless so is bound to be less accurate... I`m wondering how accurate the wired version is...

Once you get a vertical mouse, I guarantee you don't want to go back to a regular mouse. Been using one since and I have recovered from my CTS. But as I said in a previous comment, the vertical mouse is only one solution to help with CTS. There are other things to consider to avoid and maintain other repetitive strain injuries. Ergonomic keyboard for your hands to be in a natural position while typing. Sitting straight with elbows at 90 degrees and shoulders back for proper posture. Using a foot stool if your feet are dangling from the floor while sitting

The removable rest plate is actually terrible for mouse control and ergonomics. I don't see any gamers/streamers that actually use a gaming mouse with such a thing. Without it, the contact to the desk/table surface provides much better control.

TERRIBLE MOUSE: It is difficult to move the cursor in the right direction without straining the wrist due to the incorrect orientation of the sensor. In order for a vertical mouse to work, the sensor should be pointing more towards the upper right of the mouse to match the natural hand position that is curling towards to the left. The alignment of the x and y axes of the cursor is totally off. When I hold the mouse naturally, and move the mouse to the right, the cursor goes diagonally down, and when I move it to the left, the cursor goes diagonally up. You have to hold the mouse at a very strange, unintuitive angle to be able to use it, and even then, I still had to adjust the path of my hand to move the mouse more diagonally up and to the right when I wanted my cursor to move right, and vice versa. You might eventually be able to get used to this, but the way in which you have to hold the mouse is pretty unergonomic and does not seem to fit how it was designed.
