_do not listen to people that *itch around over her aesthetic_ that's half of her controversy of the community from what i heard on the internet so take this with a grain of salt. the other part are complaining and assuming that HG doing it intentionally to milking players money out and it was unnecessary to give her an Alter in this design because it doesn't fit and makes sense in her lore if you look at Alter Lava and the upcoming Alter Kroos they really fit for an Alter. Players are also worried that AK becoming more and more powercreeping with upcoming new operators I personally would pulling her, luckily i got her with yellow tickets, not only for her abilities but for her beautiful L2D artwork on E2

@@kadse2994 From what I observed, I'm pretty sure the whole "Her design doesn't fit the lore" thing is from the (extremely) vocal minority, I mean really, how does Chalter not fit with the lore considering the event she got released in is basically Ch'en during her vacation. The main reason (from what I understand) the CN community are pissed with HG is that Chalter got released way too soon, since a lot of players who have been saving rolls have already burned their stock pile in the previous huge event.

I'm a Ch'en simp. I even bought her Guard form from shop instead of getting her from Headhunting or Recruitment. Why? RNG sucks. I'm currently m3 her third skill right now. As for Chalter, seeing her in swimsuit makes me really happy but her using water guns, it kinda baffles me but I'm still rolling for her because she is the reason why I keep playing AK. So, am I ready for her? I have been waiting for her for 5-6 months so that can't be a no. Do I have enough Orundum for her? 300 rolls ready(saving since Rosmontis banner just for her) Do I have enough materials to upgrade her and her skills? Yes. Been wanting to see her E2 art in my own account, max her level and m3 her third skill only.(Don't want to M3 her other skills since I know I will rarely use it and doubt that I will use it) What I wanted to say here, I'm not wishing you all luck but instead I'm giving you all of my luck as I don't need luck anymore to get her. For those who complain about her, they are noobs in gacha game world lol. This summer version stuff isn't something rare in other gacha games (especially JP gacha game). And, somehow, the summer version of a character tend to be stronger than the original version. That's why I, who played A LOT of gacha games, can't understand the hate that the community have.

I think you answer your own question/statement. arknights fanbase like this game because it's different from another gacha, you didn't need high rarity to fully complete the game. But when they release surtr and by extension chalter fan base is alarmed that the game will release impossible content without broken operator. Also when this banner released in CN, it reeks cash grab. Cheap arts (they fixed it), cheap storyline, and come after limited banner train. tldr : don't blame the fanbase, they only want to defend their game.

Even if I get to pull Ch'alter somewhere along the 100-pull hope, I'd stick with Ash and Exusiai because they're fun to synergize with Warfarin, Elysium, Aak, Ayerscape, Shamare and Suzuran. I don't really think ASPD helps Ch'alter's S3. In fact, it'd be just a waste of buffs for her since her skill duration is infinite until the ammo depletes.

If Chalter gets a module then I don't understand the modulesystem at all. I thought modules are only implemented to buff certain operators which are outdated (Skadi) or simply underwhelming (Passenger) to make them more relevant. If broken Operators like Chalter or Surtr also gets that then what's the point?

It's actually not for buffing certain operator, but certain "sub-class" As you can see a when there's a new module, it's always all the operator in a specific sub-class who gets them. Of course some operators who already strong will look even more stronger with a module upgrade, even though the upgrade is pretty much the same like the rest of the sub-class

People complained about Ch'en on her release because of a variety of issues, but honestly, I'm glad that's really the only thing people have to complain about. Hypergryph has been great towards their player base, they give generous rewards, have decent farming methods for gacha currency, and create amazing game modes within an already solid game. While other gacha games have large issues, like Genshin's "anniversary" and FGO's new pity system, and receive large and understandable backlash for it, Hypergryph has done nothing like that. They are one of the few companies who are so generous to the players, and for that I am incredibly grateful.
