It doesn't lose any thrust with altitude. In fact they go even faster at high alt because the drag is much less. You can break mack 1 in the Me 163 for example at 10k

the ta152H got it's MER VERY nerfed and it's so unstable and heavy to fly. It's constantly wobbling and overrolls like an endless pendulum. There's big chances you can enter in a flat spin if you fly in sim, or get the slightest damage on a wingtip. I preferred it the way it flew before: very fast, great stall fighting abilities and average turn without flaps, Yak 3 like turn with full flaps. I've won an incoming spitfire mk22 ace with a Yak 9p, you don't need to turn more than a spitfire to win a spitfire.

@@_lliu3oqppehu9l_83 it's awful cause it's FM is like a yak with no rudder. Plus it will still compress at high altitude, as it starts sucking beyond 400kmh IAS. Gotta love how the A7m rolls. At 400kmh it rolls like a focke wulf and I could put a p51H in fron of me in a realistic duel custom. I couldn't hit him before he zoomed away at mach 1 cos my aim fucking sucks. And funny because my Japanese cannons never gave me real problems.

The fuel isn't a problem for the BI because you are already faster than almost everything you face, you don't need to be at 100% to outrun anything you face. The Me-163B-0 faces supersonics and gets uptiered to 9.7 very often, and if you want to compete or even catch anything you need to be going pretty damn fast. If it belongs at 8.7, so does the regular 163 and the Ki-200, they are all the same exact plane with the only difference being the guns. Also, I don't know why you are comparing the MIG-15Bis to the 163, they are completely different planes.

@@_ZenX_ exactly! the speed is the biggest problem the 163 has. you gotta dive to get behind someone and even if you do that a lot of planes are still as fast or faster so youre screwed once you hit the deck as you just lost like 10-20secs fuel for someone you wont catch anyway and have to regain alt too. noone will turn with you. youll rip easily if youre not careful with your turns. landing is horrible. ammo count is low shell velocity pisspoor unless you use the 20mm. your best bet is to catch someone off guard or hunt bombers. its just subpar in literally everything but retention and turnrate and nothing compared to the russian one. on that tier speed dictates the game and people still dont get it. kinda sad

@@_ZenX_ if youre chasing people faster than you or trying to outrun anyone youre already doing it wrong, you get into furballs where people usually are at like 900kmh or less which you can easily catch, once youre on someone and at equal or higher energy there's very little chance for them to escape, you turn extremely well, no matter how well they turn you can easily pull inside them, ad defensively you dont need to outrun them, and aside from outclimbing, use that agility, you can evade most relatively easily and yeah i think the ki200 should be 8.3 or 8.7, the guns are a big deal, 8.0 163's guns have less than 500m/s velocity, worst of anything it faces, b-0 has over 700m/s and ki200 over 900m/s, both a lot more useable(btw ki200 isnt exactly the same, little lighter, less thrust, and less fuel time) i compare to the mig15bis because both are similar in that their main strengths theyre known for are accelerating well and great turn at low to medium speeds, 163 does both better, at least after its burned a bit of fuel to lighten, oh plus it can actually roll

There are multiple ways to indicate airspeed, IAS, TAS, CAS, GS. Depending on altitude (air density) and wind, the measurments can differ between each type. So for the compression it's best to use SPD (i think war thunder's SPD indicator is GS)

I know about this plane almost 20 years ago. Where I could fly It in a simulator.
