really janky but fun plane, something he never pointed out was there is a sweet spot for speed (500,900)km/h while turning, you basically become a ufo, but the plane must be spaded to pull it off, i usually kill my speed to 800, start the hard turn and then add flaps at there max airspeed, you usually kill about 100-200km/h doing this but it is very worth when the mig 15 that thought he had you by balls gets his clipped off in a matter of seconds. flaps make you turn slower at high altitude(above 4000m) but become necessary at low alt, you WILL out turn everything in the br range, you can do a hairpin turn in about 5 seconds, so if you are forced into a dogfight, bring the enemies speed down and you will out turn him. 0:23 The super mystere received a buff few months ago, the high speed thrust loss issue has been fixed and it now has a whole ton of extra thrust at high speed. It is pretty solid now and definitely worth some attention.

I think I'm cursed to only be able to use planes that kind of suck. I had a blast using this thing even at 9.3, same with the f80 (both variants) which everyone tells me are remarkably bad planes. Yet in planes that are objectively very good - the F5, the sabre, the f104 - I just have an awful time even if the kdr is good. Weird as hell.

My F80C kdr for example, is much higher than my f104 kdr.

Are you hitting lock target and have mark target bound to the same key and that is why we see the yellow arrows from time to time? Especially when you are diving on someone. I only notice this because I had it set up that way in enlisted, or well I had it bound to fire key so marker would go where I shot so that my stupid AI would know where to focus.

It’s just more polarized, I suggest not getting it cause uptiers are even more pain, the only way to dodge a missile from something like a A-10 is to like, either roll out the way right when it goes over you; or just never let it get a reasonable lock. Neither of which are very reliable

I never used an Aim-7C but the motor burn time looks way to short to be useful in any range over 1.25 kilometers against a slower or similar speed target. Do they have any benefit besides being radar that I don’t know of or do they just suck.

they're a missile intended for head on use against bombers IRL, they where there to give navy aircraft an option to engage bombers threatening the fleet without having to get behind them to use an AIM-9B, the range is actually pretty good if the target is coming right at you without manouvering, and because the burn time is so short you can get people with surprise kills in long range headons pretty consistently with them.

This plane may have lackluster acceleration and top speed, but damn can it turn really well at low speeds with flaps, and the Aim-9Bs are decently potent. Just don’t ever try to use the Aim-7C lol.

Use aim7c and learn it and you will get 4 aim7c kills every game. (Fr fr trust me) On a silly note I did get a 4k with the 7c's once plus 3 guns kills.

@@reinni2968 only time I’ve gotten kills was a Tu-4 and a Ki-200 lmao. It’s extremely situational and requires the enemy to be completely unaware for the most part.
