Yeah. Emberton II has V-Shape sound, boosted Bass and Treble ad overall pleasing. And Emberton III sounds more Flat, balanced, bit more reference and boring though Bose is best out there

In the past two years, due to the United States, the manufacturing chain has been forced to change. Many new products are manufactured in Vietnam and other places instead of China. Therefore, all headphone brands including Bose, Sony, and UE are not as good as before. So if you really want to buy, you have to buy products from two years ago.

Just got Emberton II for 119 euros instead of choosing Emberton III for 169 euros. To be honest Emberton II sounded so nice, that I didnt even bother to spend extra money for the III. Im happy that my choice is in line with ur review.

Another great video. ❤ since the Beats Pill returned with all its special iPhone features I’ve only really used the Pill and the still great Bose. I don’t think the Emberton 3 is as pretty as the old one. Still sounds nice though.

Great video as always! Love my Acton 3, both of my Emberton 2 speakers and my Willen 1 all purchases after watching your videos and getting your awesome recommendations. I wish you would do a video showing off the sound of two Emberton 2 speakers in stack mode and how epic that sound is and then compare that to the Killburn 2 and the Tufton. I am trying to decide if I want to buy a Killburn 2 or buy a Tufton. I love the knobs on top after using my Acton 3 everyday. But my Embertons in stack mode by the pool, waterproof and that 360 sound is really great too. Thank you for everything. Great videos.

Thanks Man!! At last someone talked about the degraded logo material quality! Note: Emberton 1 had bad logo quality too, the color worn out very easily, and the logo plastic was very cheap that it broke! I wonder why dont they make the logo like Willen? and you said the quality is even poorer after 3 gen!! 😂I was thinking about upgrade to Emberton 3, but watching first 2 minutes of your video cancelled that plan.

Thanks for the review of the Emb III. Really disappointed to see that the stack mode has been removed not that I was using it until I bought another a Emb II a couple of days ago (20 Oct 24) as I saw a good deal and before I saw your review. The design of my new one is black like my original but it has a silver grill rather than the black on my original. Am I bothered about the colour difference? No! I love the bombproof design and the punchy sound. I think Marshall has made a poor decision about the BT version they are using. Maybe they should have waited to see where the market was going?

You have to lay the Bose on it's back which changes the EQ and makes the sound crisper and not so muted. I have both and honestly you can't go wrong with either. I'm returning the Bose bc the Marshall is leagues more attractive then the Bose on a desk and sounds great for this category. Remember that these are BT speakers "on the go". Don't expect them to sound anywhere near like a decent sound system

You weren't imagining it. There's certainly a difference between the 2 and the 3, with the 2 sounding better to me. Honestly the JBL and Bose felt like a pain to listen to, while the two Marshalls sound pleasing, with the 2 more pleasing than the 3. I wish you included the Source Sound though.

You currently CAN NOT. That's the whole thing abut them depending on Auracast technology - it's not really out yet... the last time they said this was 2 years ago and they never got anywhere.

Emberton II has the more well-balanced sound. And the better-looking logo plate. Plus I was one of the luckier ones to be able to snag the limited edition Emberton II that Marshall did in collaboration with Patta. Yup, the fluorescent orange one with a Rastafarian grille. Sonically loud, visually even louder.

The Bose flex sound will be slightly better overall - but that doesn’t mean you won’t absolutely love the emberton’s sound as it’s really really good as well. It’s splitting hairs at this level. I’d recommend the emberton 2 because it’s cheaper and nearly the same.

Nothing new under the Sun. Making a nice portable speaker with mids and lows for Marshall seems to be difficult. With a fully forward setting and not 360 degrees as the sound that bounces back from the speaker only generates bad harmonics.
