Should You Go Camping On Hawaii's North Shore?

This week we're "camping" on Oahu's north shore at Malaekahana camp ground! We booked a cabin right by the ocean. Kids loved it and there's so much to do.. surfing during the day, smores by the fire at night, and the kids loved it. We definitely recommend booking this if you're coming to Oahu.

The cabins we stayed in usually book out pretty far in advance, but camping with a tent is a lot cheaper ($10 per person / per night). Truly amazing to wake up right next to the ocean and a great way to experience Hawaii.
