Xianyun is fairly decent support, however zajef, consider that Displaying her mastery over both fire and polearms, Xiangling sends a Pyronado whirling around her. The Pyronado will move with your character for the ability's duration, dealing Pyro DMG to all opponents in its path.

Not especially surprised that Amber have closed doors. Hoyo decided around a year ago to stop providing any kind of support or access to non-video creators. Havent heard anyone talking about this really but Hoyo changed their CC programme about a year ago, and cut out all wiki, database, map, calculator, and similar content creators from the programme. No more beta access, high resolution assets, or access to their community team. It’s really hard to retain the motivation (and staff) to host and run a website at a financial cost to yourself when the devs have explicitly withdrawn support. This is one of the main reasons you will have seen this kind of content disappearing over the last year. I don’t know Amber’s relationship with Hoyo since they hosted leaked information, but the community around non-video content has largely soured given Hoyo’s decision and I wouldnt be surprised if that stretched across the board even to those without a direct relationship.

Personally used Kaveh Raiden Furina Xianyun EM Raiden can proc hyperblooms that Kaveh and Furina generate, giving the team a spike in damage, enable spread for more damage from Kaveh and provide energy, which every member of this team needs You could do a pyro Kaveh work with Bennett, but Dendro Kaveh is more fun, more interesting and no circle impact

In the best case, she enables new playstyles for unused characters and buffs already good characters. In the worst case, she fulfills Jeans role as an anemo healer, if you don‘t have her already. In the end, you will probably never regret pulling a support, especially not an anemo support

one of the teams you might have missed, where she's a very significant upgrade, is navia teams... currently the best navia teams are Furina-Xianyun with either benny or zhongli as last slot. with benny you deal the most damage, with zhongli you are free from circle impact. -navia between skill charges does pretty mediocre damage with her NA string, xianyun lets her do 4 geo plunges per shotgun, which without even factoring xianyun's buff is already an MV increase of almost 1000% -even if you're slow at cancelling plunges, your 4th plunge will be infused by c6 benny and it will vape for pretty much the same damage the geo infused plunges do. -double geo navia lacks a good geo support, whichever you use between ZL, albedo, chiori, GMC, etc... they're mostly there for geo resonance. Xianyun is an upgrade to every one of them when you start factoring VV for furina's dmg or the healer set for navia's plunges+shotguns. -due to plunges having no icd, you don't really need a second geo for crystallize shards (due to enemy ICD for plunges, in single target you never needed a second geo anyway, but now in aoe you will very likely have no issue getting your bullet charges) -the rotation is as simple as it gets: furina E->navia EQ->furinaQ->xianyunEQ->BennyQ->naviaE+4plunges+E+4plunges->repeat EDIT:it also makes Geo goblet a better choice compared to atk even with furina, since geo goblet boosts both navia and xianyun's dmg contribution.

@@liz4884 Crystalise only consumes 0.5 of a hydro aura. The main limiting factor isn't hydro application, it's geo application. 4 plunges quadruples your geo application over Navia's NA string. In practice this team stacks up to 6 shards reliably in both single target and two targets, which is all we've got in the current Abyss. I still prefer replacing Bennett with Mona personally, damage gap isn't that big since the combo is quick and the majority gets amped by her and it ensures that you hold your aura on targets. Plus I just like Mona more.

@@jyusatsu Bennett, furina, and xianyun -I used skyward but im sure any crit weapon would do better i just don't have any. If you're f2p like me you can use the melusine cardboard claymore too. -MH on kaveh, noblesse on bennett, golden troupe on furina, vv on xianyun I found that at least someone needs fav on this team bc they're all energy hungry so i put it on xianyun. I was bursting every other rotation with kaveh to get around his er issues so i went attack goblet, but if you have c6 bennett or if you're bursting every rotation pyro/dendro goblet should be good too Lastly i saw someone say they replaced bennett with raiden and it also did well bc she helped him spread and with the team's er issues so it might be worth a try. I haven't tested it myself

I'm playing C1 Hu Tao + C0 Xianyun + C1 Furina + C0 Yelan in this Abyss and something he doesn't take into account is that in this case, you can just do N1CD and jump cancel into plunge every 3rd charged attack to avoid dash cooldown. It's super easy to play, don't miss vapes and deals a lot of damage. Charged attack alone is better with C1, but getting some plunges while avoiding dash cooldown is nice, no need to force doing plunges everytime. I liked playing this way more than any other team options.

The only exceptions are Diluc with 89.5 - 179/224 Razor and Itto with 82 - 154/205 and weirdly enough, Gaming with 64.1 - 128/160 You'd expect Gaming to have higher multipliers, with his kit being based around plunge attacks, but turns out it's the lowest out of all claymores... guess hoyo be hoyo.

noting on the dash canceling: I’m a rizzley main and gave melt a shot (wrio benny xl xy). it’s probably because I’m on ipad, but I simply cannot get through the rotation quick enough. i’ve noticed how much quicker it is to plunge, normal attack, jump, plunge.

I don't think dash cancelling works with Rizzly since his NA's seem to be purposely designed to still chain after small interruptions. I'm doing his whole NA sequence and then jumping, getting about 2/3 plunges on Xianyun's burst which defo isn't making the most of him, but with Furina I think the team's overall dmg is stronger.

I don't see anyone mention this but your kazoo plunge team is a top-tier one. The best thing about him is that you can group small enemies as well to clear all in one go and you can also run kazoo on vv while xianyun is on song of days past for easy pyro and hydro swirls.

I thought that this would be good but I didn't have good enough VV artifacts to try it. Especially because you want EM Sands with crit. I ended up playing him with MH and using his burst to absorb Furina's Hydro, then spamming 8 fast plunges in Benny's burst since the aura's don't flip. All-out plunge spam seemed better to me than struggling with VV setups and losing Bennett burst uptime like on a lot of characters.

Big thing is if your Xianyun is C0 and you want to make your dead dps to be viable again, ur bound to play circle impact bcs ur using Bennet, the recent abyss does not reflect it, but once multiwaves abyss are back, this team instantly crumble due to its nature of being bad at transitioning your dmg to next wave if enemies spawn apart, and the team has no interruption resistance, Xianyun can get staggered mid air, you can get pushed outside Bennet’s circle etc, which waste a lot of buff duration, so be mindful of that too The only solution to this is Candace + Xiangling to, but this will heavily rely on Xianyun’s C2 and your on fielder’s NA scaling to do good hydro vape dmg, bcs ur losing out on Furina’s dmg buff and Bennet’s buff in exchange for flexibility to tackle multiwaves

I artifact fodder run each day. I don't mind it and I think its one of the more helpful things you can do on your account. Sayu changed my account forever for that once I got her. I was also debating getting characters for the sake of that sort of overworld team. I was on the fence here about Wanderer vs Xianyun but i'm glad I caved for Xianyun. Even if Wanderer could be argued to be better, my meme name of Fukadis (Wind + this) and how stiff his flight seems to feel vs Xianyun was the deciding factor. She breathes life into it and its super fun to hop around and get my daily stuff done. She feels like the most impactful character for my account since Sayu in terms of directly feeling fun. For now shes staying level 20 but plunge memes might happen at some point especially since the idea of giving Barbara a chance to shine that isn't just in bloom or the horrible wonkyness of CA spam vape, is really tempting.

Xianyun has finally given me a way to use my C3 Qiqi and my top 2% Xiao. Wasn't too excited for her before she came out, but now that I have her I've become a giddy child on Christmas. At 5:30 you start talking about using VV/not using it. I farmed a little bit of Song for Xianyun but then stopped and put VV on her after watching your pre-release analysis. So from what i understood from this part of the video, either VV with double swirl or Song with no setup essentially and either is fine? Because I absolutely suck at double-swirl setups (99% skill issue but also high ping). In this case, if I switch to Song it won't be too much damage loss? Sorry if it's a dumb question, I just got a bit confused and wanted to clear this up.

100k vape finally achievable with my plunge Diluc with her. He's lvl 5 talent currently but his talent domain might take longer that necessary Lisa somehow did 68k max on plunge against masanori. What surprised was Ayato 94k vape plunge with Candace against pyro cube. Both lvl 7 talent Xianyun gonna be fun for more satisfying plunge number lmao

I'm so happy I'm in a situation where I already have plenty of solid team options for Abyss, so even though I really dislike the plunge spam playstyle and don't want to play it in Abyss, I still pulled Xianyun and have been loving her. She's just so fun and satisfying to play in Overworld and general content (even co-op). You can still weave in a plunge here or there and it'll actually do something, but she's just really nice as an Anemo Resonance/VV mobility healer.

My biggest problem with her is that I have to level up characters normal attack talent, which I don't actually do very often. But that's my problem. She's very funny and I enjoy her a lot too. Although I should try to dash cancel with Diluc to get better results

Xianyun Triple Hydro with Xingqiu, Yelan, and Furina. Xianyun drives and uses VV and heals to stack fanfare. It shreds enemies. As far as i can tell no one else can pull it off because only Xianyun can keep healing and apply lots of anemo. Its very fun.

She easily is a must pull, for veteran players being bored on this stingy game. Anyways, i was surprised and satisfied by her exploration part. She's basically made for traversing mountains, and QoL overall on this department. As for the meta side... ... bringing her with gaming (EM sands because he has so much ATK on that team) is very good with furina and Bennett.

Definitely agree about being bored and stinginess. This is a character that actually introduces new mechanics and not just deals another color of rainbow damage type with minor variation like Navia.

The Hu Tao part feels like it ended up as a hostage situation due to the Xingqiu bias. First pretty obvious problem is that 6N1CJp is more preferred to the other ones. Secondly the AOE talk of Xingqiu is pretty irrelevant when you need to be practically hogging the enemy for xingqius rains words to do hydro app and you have swirls from the plunge to keep the hydro aura consistent. Also reverse vaping furina with damage weapon once or twice max is not a detrimental damage loss. Edit: I do have to say after reaching the end navia should have gotten a specific mention Xianyun Furina is pretty much competitive with Bennet Xiangling it's even calced to be just straight up stronger.

Im having fun with her. My Xioa is playable again so that makes me happy. I tried Her, Diluc, Albedo and Zhongli as a team, super fun. I add Zhongli and Albedo in random teams bc i got Albedo ticks to 28k crit so i use Albedo alot

In terms of meta and fun, she’s great. As somebody with C6 Bennett and Furina, I can use her effectively in many teams. However, not being able to use E mid-air still makes me CRINGE. Like bro, I keep hitting the button and just nothing happens.

Have to put in my thoughts and say that Xianyun Navia aka Guillotine teams are pretty fantastic. You can go with either Zhongli or Bennett and it will be pretty good. Xianyun stacks Fanfare much easier than Bennett even if you end up using both together, and Xianyun also can end up contributing to Navia's damage with Song of Days Past. Not to mention that Navia gains a 40% plunge dmg bonus dueing her geo infusion. You are bound to get 3 shrapnel sharshot stacks since a plunge would take around 1s to execute and has no ICD so crystallize with every plunge, plus a vaporize plunge if with C6 Bennett. I prefer Zhongli for the geo resonance and no circle impact restrictions and the team dishes out fairly good damage. Seeing between 55k and 70k plunges, and I expect with SoDP, Navia could deal well around 80k plunges to 90k, but VV is a general artifact set to help with Furina's off field damage. So if you are looking to expand and upgrade Navia teams, forget Chiori and go for Xianyun. Xianyun would basically give Navia more AoE than Chiori could hope for plus blended synergy with Furina.

I hate the plunge attack gameplay, mainly due cuz of playing with mobile. However, I pulled Xianyun just because of her aesthetic design and/or because her elemental skill animation (the triple jump + the bord dive). I still hate plunge tho. However I enjoyed certain character's plunges like Bennet & catalyst's plunges.

Got her for HuTao and was a fun choice .. one-cycled that annoying Ruin Serpent with the new team (C0R0), which seems kinda insane. Even 70%+ Drake HP in one rotation My Yoimiya used to be about the same, sometimes slightly better for bosses but now it looks really questionable. The bosses this Abyss kinda suck for longer Yoimiya on field time, but yeah I didn't even come remotely close to the new HuTao team clear times with her this time around. Curious to see how future bosses will go now. Otherwise though, I don't have Xiao and every other Xianyun team just seems to be pretty much the same with extremely minor variations - i.e. where it barely matters which character is used on field. Personally that's extremely boring to me, I do not like YOLOing a character that contributes nothing other than leeching off supports. It's even worse than the hyperbloom core imho, at least some stupid slot-ins like Eula, hydro dps, etc. still have a little bit of synergy with the rest of the team. And I already don't play any of those, EM Raiden included. My hyperbloom team is on-field Kuki for all the EM / reaction buffs, since her kit is actually made for it. I refuse to do things like never use EM Raiden's burst. Still, the HuTao upgrade is fun and she's nice for exploration so no regrets.
