I have to say, I'm really liking the Fontaine 4 stars. Characters like Charlotte, Chevreuse and Gaming are a breath of fresh air, after the utter DISSAPOINTMENT that were the Sumeru 4 stars.

I noticed that the direction the pet is launched is random at first but then every launch after that will be to the oppose side that the last one was. if you see him going right, prepare to catch it and dash left after a plunge and vice versa.

One of the very first busted teams was Bennet - Chongyun - Xinqiu with Bennet as damage dealer, you would you chongyoun to apply cryo/freeze and then melt with Bennet. At the very beginning of the game the combo was super strong and even today quite viable

I was wondering why nobody thought of the double cryo thing, not just Zajef. That was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw his controllable and infrequent pyro application. Finally a pyro unit that can forward melt without it being a cringe fest, and finally a reason to use Diona and Rosaria again! I was hoping to make it strong without Bennett but that may just have been copium. We're never going to be rid of Bennett -.-

For choices outside of Diona and Rosaria in melt, Layla, Lynette, and even Ganyu should work as well. They don’t give as many buffs to Gaming with their passives/constellations, but they have a bit more mobility/range with their application. Lynette also has the bonus of potentially getting VV shred on pyro and being more easily able to infuse cryo. Still it’s extremely annoying that we need two whole sources of cryo to properly trigger melt with pyro, and the uptime and application still really aren’t that great either. Still bitter that instead of making something like a cryo Xingqiu, they just straight up doubled down into vape meta with Yelan…. Here’s to hoping the cryo archon will be a Yelan or C6 Fischl (it won’t happen)

One VV setup which is not optimal but very consistent and works even if you get interrupted or Furina's summons are already on field: Furina: Charge (change into heal mode), E, Q Bennett: E, Q Furina: Charge (change into DPS mode) Xianyun: E, Q Gaming: ....

That said in this setup you can Bennet E before Q and you don`t have to normal attack on Xianyun which means unless your playing on high ping and have a significant amount of character swap delay you should at worst lose a quarter of a second of bennet ult uptime compared to Zajef's setup.@@FranciscoJG

Are we sure that not snapshot Bennett's Burst on Rosaria Burst is a DPS lose? I'll personally will do Layle bc I dont like Diona and she can hold Tenacity set, then do Bennett on instructors EQ, into Rosaria Burst on Noblesse, into Gaming combo, into Rosaria E into Layla and repeat. This way both Rosaria and Gaming get ToM and Instructors buff (in case Rosaria Melt some of the hits imo is valuable) and Gaming also get Noblesse, also Layle would apply more Cryo for Gaming to melt I guess. Also if Diona, what about Instructors Diona, Noblesse Rosaria and Song Past Bennett?

Kaeya's burst follows you around but it also goes up with you whenever you plunge so probably not that great + the smallish range. You might get away with Ganyu just spamming her burst but at that point why don't you just play her onfield and let her do the melting with an offield pyro. Layla's cryo app is single target iirc. Compared to these options imo 200EM is better.

his c1 can also slightly delay a tiny bit yourself stacking Marechaussée Hunter 4p 3 stacks by being full life at the start of every rotation because you healed fully at the end of the previous one despite doing your last E Plunge after your heals timed out.

usually vape is better because there are better hydro supports but for cryo it's very cringe so people tend to play vape even though melt has more dmg

Pyro vape is easy because you can keep the hydro aura, cause by simple you need to hit 2 times with pyro to remove the hydro aura but with melt you only need to hit 1 time, and if you hit too fast there would be no cryo aura to melt the pyro hit Also the is so many hydro support than cryo support to apply an element to enemy so melting is just cringe

Fast Pyro = Vape Slow Pyro = Melt It's cuz we have fast hydro and slow cryo, plus 1 hydro can vape 2 pyro hits while cryo handles 1 pyro hit

That's not very far off the expected result, if at all. Pulling for 4 stars is just terrible odds. Don't do that unless you're happy with at least 2/3 of the 4 stars on the banner.

@@afsdfsadhasfh that’s exactly the expected result if you get a 4-star every 10 pulls and lose every 50/50 on 4-stars. The thing is, the 50/50 mechanic leads to 2/3rds of 4-stars being on-banner, and you get a 4-star on average every 7 or 8 pulls if memory serves me right. Accounting for 8 pulls per 4-star, 120 pulls should average to 15 on-banner 4-stars including 5 copies of Gaming. That’s C5 if you get the Lantern Rite copy as well Of course there are unluckier people than this. But this is very significantly below the average, just like I was significantly above the average when I got C6 Charlotte in 90-100 pulls on Furina banner
