Thank you for watching! Regarding Isaiah, I'm not willing to go that far at this point. I think he may be a brother with a blind spot. It happens. I've had blind spots before. Just praying he sees this and is willing to change his mind on excusing/endorsing people who clearly are in sin by charging for ministry. It's so grievous. Lets be in prayer.

Some people use the word of God as a means to draw people to *themselves* .. not to God. As a Preacher, the word of God in its perfection, as Jesus is perfect, should always be the concern of those who share it. JOHN 13:15-17 15 “For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. 16 Truly, truly, I say to you, *a servant is not greater than his master* nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. 17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

I definitely know who the person is that they're talking about for sure ..I don't get why they won't just say his name if it's not a problem... it's Daniel Adams... all those pastors are really close to him... I know because I've heard a lot of people talk about that and I've seen he charges like 300-500 an hour for a session online.. not even in person.. and I've wondered about that too but Daniel Adams sure moves in some power . I hope he repents for doing that and stops.. I know it's him too cuz a while ago when I first found out about Daniel Adams and felt like I needed deliverance, I tried to find out how to get a video conference with Daniel Adams and that's how I found this out... he also charges a lot to be a member of his ministry that he calls forerunners where he teaches on how to move in the gifts of the spirit and cast out demons and heal the sick and stuff and then your allowed to help him at the events he does and to go out and pray for people with him . otherwise your not allowed to unless your a paying forerunner... definately kinda reminds me of simon the sorcerer... he might end up being one of the ones who Jesus says I never knew you to... it's sad because he could be helping so many more people

I wonder where their faith is. They got all the power know how to work miracles through Jesus. But need to charge people for what the Bible truly says do for free?!! Then ishaih has said “I stay away from those that go too deep in theology” The guy in the top left has a “school of prophets he charged for” The bottom left just admitted to charging for “time/deliverance” 🤔 I just found your channel tonight but I totally agree you aren’t to charge true men or women of God wouldn’t ever do so. Bc they know better/fear the Lord. (It’s the Lords doinf it ain’t about us the human) it’s to glorify Christ and only to do that. Idk how people miss this (when discerning if someone’s “operating in the spirit” or not.

Anyone who charges money for the gifts of the Holy Spirit is obviously not working thru the power of the Holy Spirit. The gifts of discernment, healing, prophecy or any of the other gifts of the Holy Spirit cannot be sold because they are not yours to begin with. You are just a instrument, a tool if you will. The healing, or discernment, or the prophecy is coming from God, not from man. It’s like when Jesus rebukes and chases the bankers/Pharisees out of the temple for selling idols and animals for sacrifices. Or in the book of acts when the man and his wife fall dead for selling their homes and holding back some of the profits and then lying and saying they donated the full proceeds. Truly if they wanted to keep the money that was their right but to lie about it to look righteous in the eyes of man is a serious sin. That’s why Peter says they lied to God and not to man because they were trying to buy righteous in the eyes of man and not in the eyes of God. In my mind selling the works of the Holy Spirit is the worst kind of blasphemy, of the unpardonable kind. Simon the sorcerer is another great example as you already mentioned.

Question- Can these online pastors really pastor the people listening to them? I don’t think so.
@TheSanePentecostal
@TheSanePentecostal Ай бұрын
I agree, perhaps they can teach but honestly I think it's appropriate for someone to focus on their local congregation and preach to them and if they want to post that online for others to be edified that makes sense. It's the approach I take. 99% of my videos are just messages I preach locally walking through Scripture and we share those to edify others. I think having a local body keeps on anchored.

Is counseling considered the same as ministry? Many Christian people who are councilors choose to offer counseling sessions that are not for the purpose of receiving prayer. Also, what about the Old Testament prophets who instructed those God was to bless to first serve them? I do agree concerning not paying for being ministered to. But in the same vein, I feel like there’s a lot of need in the body of Christ and many people are not supporting those dedicated to living their lives in full time ministry, with families to support, bills to pay, and mouths to feed, on top of all that goes into ministry. How would a full time minister who does not work otherwise, be able to afford focusing on ministering. Just some questions that come to mind. 1 Corinthians Chapter 9 where Paul says those who are fed spiritually should financially support those who feed them. In a way it does seem transactional. But more than that it’s the order of God and justice of God, so that His servants and children are both provided for. A true minister of God, would not deny helping someone though because of their income or lack of ability to pay anything. So while we are to help those who lead the sheep, God is also just to the poor and those that are without. The gospel and spiritual benefits are free, but our responsibility to one another costs us. I would like to hear what they would have to say more as well to what you’re addressing.
@TheSanePentecostal
@TheSanePentecostal 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your thoughtful response. I would say that by definition a licensed counselor does not, cannot and should not be making supernatural claims. No one is paying them for access to the power of God. That's the heart of the matter. Simony is tying money to access to Gods power in a transactional way. A counselor may be a Christian and may pray for their clients if the client wants but that's not what they advertise or why the clients pay them. Second there's nothing transactional at all about wanting to bless pastors or church leaders that have been a blessing. That's not some up-front hostage situation. That's out of a joyful and free heart not under compulsion. The up-front charge is what's demonic. Pay to play. It's pretty clear in Scripture and clearly discussed and condemned in Church History. It's basically Catholic Indulgences. Prophets in the OT did not require payment. I gave multiple examples to establish this. The Elijah story wasn't about payment it was about preventing starvation as well as a prophetic picture of Christ. Paul refused to accept money from the Corinthians because they were too carnal to give with a right heart. That's profound. He not only didn't charge for his preaching, he refused their money when he discerned their heart was wrong before God. He wasn't greedy nor was he holding people hostage. There were other places where he did accept the money but in those cases the people had a right heart of love and gratitude so he knew it was of the Lord. The point is, no pastor would refuse entry into their church or to meet with you if you didn't give, no evangelist would refuse to give you the Gospel if you were broke. No apostle would refuse to plant a church because the people don't give. No prophet would dare ask for money in order to prophecy. The man of God is NOT sell the Gospel. He preaches the Gospel and works for the Lord and HIs people and they honor his work as THEY feel led. Not under compulsion.

What is the line where something becomes damnable as there are many facets involved. I personally would like clarity of this (and more). Yes I agree, I’ve always admired and listened to this preacher because of his character. Money is a hindrance to the things freely given by God. I guess my question still is does it mean that those pastors who charge in some percentage of ministry, are going to hell. Any type of ministry, such as conferences of preaching and teaching, could those be labeled the same? Are such preachers and teachers going to hell for making people pay for the Word of God which should be freely given? Why should there be a discrepancy between the Word of God being taught, and the power of God, as the power of God does not come without His Word. So far I haven’t come across the teachings of anyone like that of Prophet T.B. Joshua. He is late now, but I still listen to his sermons. Maybe his legacy can be a blessing to you, it has been for me. I honor men like him and am grateful for their work in the kingdom, coupled with their character. Iron sharpens iron.
@TheSanePentecostal

@@SabrenaODay I think the reason there's a severe judgement that comes from people requiring payment for the power of the Spirit is that unlike teaching the gifts are inherently supernatural. Anyone can study and teach. Not anyone can operate in the power of the Spirit bc that takes the Holy Spirit. The Scripture does say that teachers will be judged more harshly. So there's a responsibility there also. I agree with you that people should NOT charge for conferences I do believe that crosses a line. It's better to take up an offering so that the poor are not excluded. I don't want to find out on the Day of Judgement if those charging for conferences are going to Hell so I'll avoid it in my life and ministry. I can't see how it honors God to exclude the poor.
