This level of understanding and explanation is exactly why I can never get enough of Dr Tim's videos. This content really is invaluable. Thank you so much for all of your wonderful contribution to the industry Dr Tim ❤

I being a DIY'er have used tiny drops of botox underneath the eyes and for sure its a learning curve with each individual. I used too much only once, and learned my lesson quickly... however, using little bits works well for me. I am 59yo as of Dec 31st. Dr Tim is so great what I'd give to be able to let him recreate my aging face. I try and learn the hard way sometimes, but this is only with Botox because when it comes to fillers there isn't any room for accidents at all.

how in the world do you get access to your own supply of botox?
@sarahpenberth29487 ай бұрын
do u inject very superficially? loooking to also do this underneath my eyes, more so in the corner of my eye where i seem to have a really strong pull from squinting and lots of lines here.
@rhondahigdon73687 ай бұрын
actually, I order from a company out of Korea. I have watched many youtube videos on botox in injections, and read many books on the how to of Botox. There are several very good DIY'ers on youtube that actually are licenced and share lots of information. However, this isn't something that I'd say should be done at home. I feel very comfortable myself constituting Botox here at home and treating myself. I all can say is please watch and read everything you can to learn how before you try injecting your own face. Botox isn't so dangerous, however you can mess your face up if you aren't careful where and how many units being used for all the different problems that will dissipate over a couple of months. As for fillers, that is a whole different animal ...so to speak. It took me a year of research before I ever even started diy filler. If I had the money I'd for sure go to a medical licensed Doctor. I would love to let Dr.Tim get to work on my face, but only in my dreams. @@nowandzenify

Hi, do you have any picture examples of what you mean about the “medial pinch” during a smile when the rest of the Obicularis Oculi is over-treated ? Just trying to imagine!

Hi and thank you for this. My question is : it’s not better to treat this area with a good Bioregenerator mixed with a few units of Botox injected intra dermic not intramuscular? What are your thoughts about this ?
@MMAFightMagazine7 ай бұрын
1. Please specify which "bioregenerator" you're referring to. 2. Our goal is to relax the muscle activity; please explain your reasoning behind specifically avoiding the muscle.

Hi Dr. Tim, thank you so much for this explanation. I really wish I would have seen your video 8 months ago before I got my under eye Botox because I now know I was not a good candidate for it. It has changed the skin under my eyes drastically and caused my cheeks to droop😢 I do not know what to do to fix the situation since I am thinking the Botox has worn off by now, but the injector that did it put too much (I believe 7 units under each eye) and changed my entire look for the worse. Do you offer consultations at this moment? I would like to get your opinion on what options I have to make this better and I am open to surgery. I just want my eyes and face back. I do hope this comment reaches you and others see this video before getting this procedure done.

I just had 10 units injected for my eye area but she didn’t go too low. I’ll have to ask her next time if she can go lower. I was getting 6 units but we decided to go with 10 Per eye.

do u inject very superficially and 1unit or more? i have a very strong pull from the corner of my eyes. its like i am a very over active squinter... but really tempted to try doing very small amounts under the eye to relax the squinting muscle slightly
@swierplife7 ай бұрын
@@sarahpenberth2948 totally depends on the person. If they have any skin laxity or issues with lymphatics, undereye puffiness in the am, I avoid tox past the lateral canthus.

@@zxresaI would NOT recommend filler under your eyes. Or anywhere for that matter. Regardless of how skilled and certified the dr, filler can migrate or even granulate out of their control and it’s not worth it. Happened to me. Because of the cause of my under eye problem (thyroid eye disease) I ended up having to do bleph anyway. My surgeon could not even graft my fat because it was riddled with granulated filler. The pain was surprisingly minimal and virtually no down time.

I am believing that under eye wrinkles happen due to skin laxity and quality loss, volume loss and muscle weakening/sagging all due to ageing generally. So putting tox there will weaken the obicularis oculi even more down the road. I notice that some facial yogi who have mastered the art of face yoga hardly have any lines on their faces including the under eyes.

Aren't we supposed to use filler in tear through ?? And use Botox in crow lines .
@woolzem8 ай бұрын
Filler in tears trough can cause blindness, its dangerous but I've had some light filler there. A lot of docs won't do it
@rhondahigdon73687 ай бұрын
I myself tried a tiny amount of filler in the tear trough area, but It looked terrible. I used Liporase which is a product that will melt fillers. It is a must to have on hand for emergencies due to a possible VO. You need this product on hand anytime you are using fillers.@@woolzem

I had botox around my eyes for 2 years. Sometimes I liked it, sometimes not. It caused hollow temples. Now I know, I’m 2 months botox free. I didn’t like the “shelf” that was caused when smiling. And sometimes looked more hollow. I’m happy now without. Age 51.
@woolzem8 ай бұрын
Botox lasts for at least 6 months but probably years, you're not botox free and that's okay.
