I think pay as you go is more realistic for most people. Part time gives you more time to learn the theory as i feel that this is the hardest part of becoming a pilot. Congratulations on the 1000 and i am sure it won't be long before you get to 2000. Thanks Jane

Cx3 vs e6b...what's permitted for the written exams in Australia?
Isn't there any chance for pr in australia for foreign students who are want to become commercial pilots??😪atleast in the future as aviation might be a high demanding job category🙄🙄
@studybeforeflight3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I don’t think so. It will become in high demand for experienced pilots only, not for junior fresh commercial pilot. It’s like that for the last decades. Also, the Australian government and pilot union are in the way, they demand to keep their jobs for locals only. That’s why the requirement for foreign pilots to migrate here is very very high, not impossible if you have over 5 years professional experience and job offer, but just very difficult.

@@studybeforeflight thanks for reply jane.i appreciate it so much..i am from sri lanka..just a quick question..What do you recomend over become a pilot in sri lanka and migrate to australia or study in australian university and become a pilot...my passion is to be a pilot and also i want to migrate to australia because my sister is there...your channel helped me a lot to research over my journey..once again thank you for provide these valuable informations..🙌

Depends on the cost, is that similar for the cost to get your CPL in Sri Lanka compared to Australia? If it is similar, of course I prefer Australia. Also, think about conversion training and cost, you might need to put in 5-20 hours flying in Australia to get used the airspace and regulations, etc. You need to take some theory exams as well.

What is the best aviation school in Bankstown you can recommend for part time flying?
@studybeforeflight3 жыл бұрын
Personally, I don't give any recommendation on flying schools or university since I haven't been to every flying schools in Australia to make a fair suggestion. You can check out my other two videos (links below) to learn how to choose the best flying school to suit your needs. kzbin.info/www/bejne/laClhnaZp7l2Y7c kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJSThqCpr76loKs

Thanks a lot Jane, the response was so quick, I really appreciate for sharing your insight on this topic and assisting me to take my ultimate decision. Just a brief intro about me, as I am already doing a trade course (for two years) that will lead to PR in Australia and side by side I will start my flying as a part time student. Just a quick question, having a CPL through part time flying won't create any issue later on to apply for a job in any airline here in Australia or even if we go back to home country to search for job. (after converting the licence there) Thanks again, you are great

You are so welcome! CPL obtained from any flying school, college or university part time or full time hold the same value. Personally, I have never had any employers asked me where I did my training, they care more about work experience including non-aviation job. Having the pilot licence already proves that you are competent in flying. Pilot job is not just about flying only. Also, having skills in customer service, trade, etc, can be beneficial.
