800 damage factor to 3 targets is 2400 (-30%) = 1680. Thats basically Alex´s insta proc damage, he´s on alex´s level for damage factor but he has 30% extra all damage. Thats pretty good for a liu che pairing, plus the 20% chance for an extra liu che active. He´s definitely as good if not better than alex but for all troop types. I wouldn´t remove alex from liu che but just an example of how strong he is compared to someone "similar" in damage. The 30% all damage is the best stat on him, best stat in the game. When you factor in buffs and rage reduction, he is too good to pass on.

To my knowledge AOE works exponentially. For Philip that would mean target one takes 800 factor, target two takes 680, target three takes 578.

Instead of 100% minus 15% then another 15% the 15% is based off of the next reduced value. I could be mistaken, but I am pretty sure it is exponential

the general consensus seems to be that Philip will only be most useful to big spenders and people running 6-7 marches so I gotta go with ragnar prime. Still torn if I should go all in on him not sure if I can do him and have enough for the next inf 😂

I was planning to expertise LC but my pairing would be LC/Alex. And I think expertising RP instead of LC makes more sense simply because ScipioP/RP is a better pairing than LC/Alex. And with that I can invest ghs in both ScipioP and RP and they will be future proof. And ofc LC is future proof as well but Alex isn't so investing in that march makes less sense in comparison.

scipio/lc is arguably the best inf march in the game though, if it’s not too late I’d expertise lc if you have scip expertised. If not rp/scip is still solid I suppose, but like you said the future is with lc.

Philip will be dog sheit. Just make normal meta commanders.u won’t regret. Don’t compare Philip with ragner prime. Ragner prime multiple tier above Philip. Yes Phillip versatile and works with multiple troop type but don’t fall for this trap. 2sec buff kinda lame. Most of the time u pull back ur march after doing primary commander skill then go again to do secondary commander skill. It’s very normal way of controlling marches on field fight. Yah so conclusion is Phillip will be dog sheit!!just go with ragner p if u hv 2 inf set. Gg easy!

Im pretty sure I wont invest in him to replace William because we will have cav soon but Im running LC/Alex and im wondering if its better to invest in Phillip or Wallace for a pairing for LC or just hold at Alex. 🤔 I really think I prefer DPS commanders to buffing but I do really like that Phillip is very versatile. Im at something like 1,100 sculpts after maxing ragnar and all other commanders are good. 700 Will probably go to whatever new cav commander comes out.

The synergy of Harald Phillip is insane. Because of extra skill casts will always have one turn gap between other skills this mean they always cast skills at the last second of their damage buff then follow up with another damage buff. I know Harald is just bad nowadays I doubt his relic will help him much unless he gets buffs like +100 skill factor to his skill, but I still max Phillip for this pairing

Phillip is just not that great of an investment option for anyone using 5 or fewer marches. Hard to find a long term pairing there and if you do you’re committed to making an equipment set for that troop type, you lose so much active skill value as the secondary, but bad talent tree as primary, armaments will be a weird one in the same sense i said about the equipment. He seems very interesting and a good investment for a niche category of players, but not for most players.

@ I think that will depend on whether the duration of his active skill is subject to the X2 effect for his troop. An extended duration on that buff alongside his expertise will massively improve the damage dealt from the primary over multiple skill cycles. I think he will be good but not the best investment decision for most players. (Players using 5 or fewer marches) Immediately, you lose (personal) value from his buff if you’re using less than 5 marches and anyone running less than 5 marches should really be focusing on getting main damage dealers on the field. Then, assuming you run 5 marches, a good baseline will be 2 cav 2 inf, 1 archer. He is most valuable for archers, but you dont want to break up the ZL Herman. He gives 2nd most value to infantry, but inf already has so many viable options to use across 2 marches that the investment of 690 GH just to bench an already viable commander seems a bit much. He gives the least value to Cavs, and any new skill damage cav commander will most likely be better and more future-proof of an investment. Apologies this is getting lengthy, and is just my opinion. But not worth benching Herman for, should invest in ragnar if you need a new pair to scipio, would rather use WW or Gorgo with LC, and if you still use LC Alex you’re either keeping Alex or investing in the WW. Then for cavs, hes not replacing Nevsky, Joan or Huo, and youd want to wait until next gen cavs before deciding to replace Beli or William. The main appeal of leadership (imo) is the versatility to be able to use it with anything, and i dont think this guy fits the bill for that in practice as well as people are saying he will.

The Phillip expertise is misleading...he can only fire it every 7 seconds, and with the greater chance being on Phillip's skill, the 20% chance for Huo/Che to fire his a 2nd time is rarely going to happen Cause when the cool down finally goes away, you are 40% chance for it fire for Phillip and get another cool down, while 20% for it to be Huo/Che It's just not going to fire like that for the other commander often, don't get your hopes up. And also, Che/Huo would be primary, and 2 seconds isn't long enough for the secondary's boost to affect the primary

If it gets bumped up to 4 seconds, JoanP would be amazing 🫨 JoanP as the primary commander, when she uses her skill the second time the damage would be boosted plus the 3 skills after each other is a higher chance one of the skills would be activated by phillips expertise skill. Now hear me out. If it activated on phillips skill my guess it would go in order of skill activations. Joan, phillip, joan, phillip, and because phillip triggered last it might even be in effect when the rage bar fills again and joan fires her active skill again. Wow 😆 busted. Hopefully its 4 seconds.
