I spent more than 20 years visiting Ukraine, up until the big invasion started in 2022. This year I will travel to Moldova, as I've been wanting to visit for many years. And probably I will sneak across the border to visit my many friends in Odesa. But in all my visits to Ukraine, I never once visited a club or did the party scene. Just not for me. And I met so many wonderful Ukrainians and especially the beautiful women of Ukraine, and none of them were into the club and party scene or alcohol. That's what I like. Anyway, you do provide some useful information and I watch many of your videos. However I am a DIY'er and have never needed a guide, but for a newbie it could be quite useful and practical. I had planned on retiring to Ukraine or Moldova and I finally reached that stage. I am now in the process of selling my house and everything I own to prepare for more travel and to find that right place for me. Maybe it is Chisinau. If I see you I will say hello.
@shakostarsun2 ай бұрын
I think thirty minutes outside of Chisinau might be a perfect location, like not too far to drive but I'd prefer not being in the city constantly. Also the train to Bucharest is doable it wasn't bad at all especially the first class sleeper because I was able to sleep a bit too.

Most pensioners live on much less than that in Moldova. That is offset by much lower costs, but money is short for most Moldovans, which is why something like 30% of the male working population work abroad for at least part of the year.
