Solid video, really liked how concise it was and it generally does a good job of describing how DK functions. I will say though that in the future, it might be good to break Defense up into two different categories, like zoning and reversals, as an example, because although I would say DK's reversals are quite awful as mentioned in this video, depending on the matchup, DK is very good at keeping people off of him and away with his ftilt and uptilt. Either way though, as a dedicated DK main, I say this video is a good introduction to the character conceptually. Well done!

That's a decent argument. I'd be willing to give DK a 1. Like Bowser. I suppose when I was playing DK I always associated the long range pokes with neutral and not necessarily defense. But I get what you're saying. I just gave a 0 because I cannot think of a character with a worse juggle state, similar to how I gave dedede a 0/5 for speed. SOMEONE has to be a zero, yunno?

This was a very excellent video with the most unbiased takes I have ever seen. Although I slightly disagree about the defensive stats, everything else was pretty much spot on. And as a DK main, I appreciate you for actually doing this and taking the character seriously about in the process 💯💪🏿

REALLY LIKE THIS VIDEO!!! I'd love to see one on Ganondorf next. He seems to be the other heavy people universally shit on lol. I think people rip on DK a bit too much... His power and mobility and armor make him devastating. I'm no pro but with heavies you just gotta accept you're combo food and search for that opening to get out of the disadvantage state. It's patience. With DK I use his mobility or falling nair to get back on stage. Not to mention his armor.

Other than a poor disadvantage DK excels in everything else amazing range, speed, advantage state, combos, and kill confirms. Chunky Kong is ranked #2 in Florida, He and Slushie placed top 33 in majors with Slushie beating 4 PR players. Hikaru has placed top 5 in japan majors with DK and beat many top players including Zackray. DK is not to be slept on

You mention having limited landing options, however I feel you missed the most effective one which is wave bounce down B. If its done consistently its very effective with helping DK land. I feel most people see it as a offensive skill to have as a dk and overlooks the defensive capabilities.
