Overboss: A Boss Monster Adventure Board Game is a tile laying combo building game where players are drafting tiles and mini bosses as they attempt to craft the most glorious 16-bit video game world of all. Players are fighting it out to line up similar monsters, combo with different scoring opportunities with their terrain and also vying for important victory points.
What I love most about Overboss is the variety of modules that comes with the game. For more interaction, players can use command cards. There is an excellent solo campaign quest style mode as well as a mode that allows players to control larger bosses that give them additional end game scoring points as well as one time use abilities.
If you are a fan of the 80's or 90's video games or a fan of the Boss Monster Game Series then this board game is an absolute treat. It is perfect for the family or even as a gift for that special person!
