After watching the gameplay footage I'm tempted to get Zhu Yuan, but will have to see how she feels in game. She reminds me of Konoko from Oni - an old action game I played a lot back in the day.

The reason I recommend Zhu Yuan is that building a team with her is much easier, as the only Ether support in the game currently is Nicole who you obtain for free, and then to get the faction bonus you can add Anby who is decent at building Daze, who you also get for free. For beginners Zhu Yuan is also ranged (well, she's more mid-range actually) which means you can crowd control and telegraph dodges much easier than Ellen, who is constantly on the move and weaving in and out of combat. Also, with Ellen, Lycaon is one of her best supports since they synergize so well together, but Lycaon is an S-Rank Agent and is therefore much harder to pull if you don't get him on your discounted Starter Signal. If you get Lycaon on your starting Signal, then try and pull for Ellen if you want some of the highest burst damage potential in the end game. If you want a simpler but still really strong team, then just wait for Zhu Yuan and save up all your early game Encrypted Tapes for her.

Same here, I'm pretty sure I'll pull for Ellen if I get Lycaon, but if I don't, I guess it'll depend on who I get, and how I feel about her, story wise as well. Hard skip I think if I get soldier 11, since I really want to main her (too bad we can't choose our perma character before months...).

Im new to these kind of games how do the rolls work like i found a character that i like that isnt out yet and i want them but dont want to spend money any tips on how to save for them (btw the character is miyabi i saw the cutscene and i want her now) I'm already on chapter 2 but I'm worried that I spend to many spins and haven't been saving

Correction, based on Zhu Yuans description when you use her in the chapter 2 intermission story, her bonus actually activates on ANY support character rather than Ether element. This makes her very flexible to slot into a lot of different teams.

ellen has the best design in my opinion but i feel like she's going to be the seele of this game, just pure damage and will be power crept in the future, but i like both of their play style her and zhu yuan. i think i'm gonna wait for 1.1 leaks before pulling at all

Mainly for algorithm purposes! I spoke to a few who are more knowledgeable than I am regarding youtube analytics, and they suggested two channels to not potentially negatively affect the star rail channel.

I didnt think i would like this game so I just pulled. Got Ellen and Soilder 11, love them both and enjoy the game much more than anticipated. The gun girl is cool but sometimes when you dont know if your in it for the ling hall, you just get what you can get to have fun. Extremely happy with Ellen tho her and Soilder are so much fun to have as my first two dps

To me Zhu Yuan doesn't look that engaging. So far the melee characters looks sooo much more fun to play. I guess I will have to actually play around with it to know for sure. So I'm 50/50 on whether I want to pull Ellen and pretty sure I'm not interested in Zhu Yuan. Hoping to get Nekomata from the beginner banner, but if I get Lycaeon I'll definitely consider going all in on Ellen. Might hold off on wishing for limited units until we know what's coming up. Doubt we get Miyabi in 1.1 but if we do I'm definitely saving for her. It might be an Ayaka situation tho where she was in the beta but didn't get released until almost a year into Genshin.

Hello fellow Sonic Rush enjoyer!! Same, i love Blaze as a playable character, i wish they make another Sonic Rush, this time with even more playabel characters like Silver or Shadow. As for my game recommendation, it would be another DS game, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective. High recommend for those who want story driven games and good puzzles. . as for ZZZ, Zhu Yuan seems a bit mroe interesting but eprsonally i would wait for future banners lol

It comes down to if I get Lycaon as my first standard 5 star. If I yes then I'll push for Ellen, if not then I'll wait for Zhu Yuan and build her with Nicole support. I don't care about meta, they both look like a ton of fun to play and I'd like to have a very solid team to push harder endgame content. Also, recommended games: Stellar Blade, Pacific Drive, and Unicorn Overlord. All very different but fantastic games! Give 'em a try.

The fox dude w/ the Baton + Shield combo could probably have pretty good synergy w/ Zhu Yuan in a Zhu Yuan/Nicole team, assuming he's a Defense unit (which, let's be honest, dude has a shield, he's 100% gonna be a Paladin-type).

My game recommendation is the Horizon series. Horizon: Zero Dawn and Horizon: Forbidden West and both dlcs. I had been trying to play and love video games for a while before playing HZD and when I did play in 2018, I was in love. Now I own my own Playstation and play a lot of games when I can. If HZD/HFW is just not interesting to whoever, I also recommend the new God of War games. The Valhalla dlc is also free (or was) and I just think they're very good games.

Sonic rush is one of the coolest games i played as a kid. Always been a big fan of the sonic series and im looking forward to sonic x shadow generations this year. As far as the banners i want zhu yuan more but i will be rolling for ellen but if i lose the 50/50 im skipping.
