Can't really see her getting powercrept unless they release new characters with absurdly higher multipliers. The fact that Resurgence procs count as being the same turn make it so easy to abuse attack buffs from Bronya/Tingyun. Pretty much the only way they could remove her from the meta is releasing nothing but bosses with no adds and no quantum weakness.

Yes, the answer is "yes". Clear, single target and "I am speed" in 1 char. Which is already at least 2-in-1 slots in your team. so you already have at least 1 flex slot for buffs/breaking. (And if you want to go "full re@#%d" - you go Selee, Bronya, Tingyun and Welt. Seelee 2x attack, Ult, Bronya E, Selee attack 2, Tingyun attack, Bronya Ult, Seelle attack, Tingyun Ult, Seele attack, Welt Ult, Seelle attack (by this point most of the things in the game is dead like twice, but it's still your turn).

I was saving for jing yuan, but then i pulled bronya in the standard banner at like 50 pity, and i knew it was destiny for me to unite the 2. Sure enough, 60 pulls on the seele banner later, i got her! Now seele, bronya, gepard and tingyun is my best team. Scythe, fists, bats, so much more visual differences than just "another staff/sword/claymore/catalyst character" with the path and lightcones being separate so the weapon itself can be designed FOR the character and not just "well its another staff made for this character, you might only get it for the character if you pay a lot"

Just a simple thing to keep in mind while pulling for characters. You need one Control(tank/healer/buffer/de-buffer) and one Carry(single or multi target dmg dealers) for every element. So now it's up-to you to decide who you wanna pull. As for Seele, she is a Boss-enemy destroyer. And she is quantum, who can be used in most comps. So as of now, she is a must pull. Or you can save your Tickets for next banner and play this game on hard mode now.

@@dex7243 Only reason it's a good combo is that Seele is very fast, while Welt makes enemy slow. You can easily go for Jing Yuan even though he's slower, and Tingyun can replace Bronya. Didn't get Jing Yuan? Sushang is more than enough as a DPS. They're all in the banner, so even though it's not guaranteed it's still a high chance.

There is this one blessing in the simulated universe where every time you kill an enemy you get a massive amount of energy and if you upgrade it every time you kill an enemy you get your burst right away and if you combine that with Seele (wich I did) she will practically be the only one attacking. So if you're playing with Seele in the simulated universe and find a blessing like that just take it.

I think at this point it’s fair to say that if you don’t get a main dps on your 50 novice banner she is going to be close to a must pull. And if you get both Bronya and Tingyun she is just a no brainer and will be the strongest hypercarry the game has to offer. And based on the number and simulations I have seen from other KZbinrs it can be hard to power creep her in short time. Edit: of course she needs a lot of investments and teammates to work well, but I would argue every main dps is like this even in genshin

Sushang is very similar in that you can skill > ult > skill with her. She's basically the ftp version of Seele. If you need a ftp quantum character Qingque deals massive nuke aoe damage. A lot of the 4 stars in this game are really good compared to the 5 stars.

Apparently a MUST PULL character for the future is Silver Wolf. Sounds like the Kazuha of Honkai. Makes the enemy gain weakness to a random ally's element, and lowest their resistance to that elemental as well. basically can work in any team comp.

Isn't is bad to run Silver Wolf in mixed element teams, since you might accidentally pick up the effect on less desired elements (e.g. your shielder)? With her being quantum, you would want her teammates to also be quantum. Which means if you didnt pull Seele, you might not have much use for Silver Wolf. Seems more like a specific Shenhe situation than universal Kazuha.

i pulled for her not really caring if i get her or lose 50/50 as i really want fu xuan in the future, but also really liked the idea of getting as her i got venti with 10 pulls when genshin came out and had no idea what 50/50 was ( also would you believe me i didn't know that 50/50 even existed until i got kokomi, i just thought that every banner gives you 100% chance of getting a character that is on the banner lol) anyway i got her around 17 hours ago and she has made content a breeze, i agree when people say that seele is pretty much the venti of genshin in terms of lack of knowledge about the game itself, will she get power creeped like venti got power creeped by kazuha? eventually yes, but if you really don't care about 50/50 like i do and just enjoy having another female-wielding scythe on your team, i would highly suggest pulling for her. if that reason alone doesn't suffice and you want a bit more complicated answer, seele so far is the only 5 star quantum, her being quantum should be reason enough to pull for her as shield breaking is a very important factor of not only her kit, but the game mechanic itself, her niche revolves around maximizing your crit rate/crit damage to ensure that everything you use a second skill it kills the target and gives you energy recharge back for her ulti and to rinse and repeat from there. She is powerful, but not a must pull for sure.

For games like these, it's actually easy to know if you need a specific character. If you pulled for a support and in need of single-target damage and do not want to use Dan Heng, then go for Seele. If you pulled Yanqing or is satisfied with Dan Heng, save up and wait for the future banners or if you simply like the character's design then go for it. It's that easy really.

with the seele ult resurgence tech you dont actually need to spam it. The way the energy refills is per hit, and seele's skill does around like 3 ish hits. If you are able to fill and press the ultimate before the enemy dies, you can queue up the same tech

It's highly likely she won't be powercrept unless nerfed. Honkai Star Rail is completely different from it's past 2 predecessors because of the fact that it is turn-based and does not have mechanics such as i-frames.

Well the Genshin team doesn't work on this game, so their way of balancing/powercreeping units shouldn't really affect Star Rail. And powercreeping Seele means making another unit which will be able to abuse the whole turn-based system. I don't think that will happen anytime soon.

I'm getting the distinct feeling from this guide that Braxophone doesn't like her basic attack being called "thwack", or the idea that someone would hit someone else with the blunt end of something sharp in general. Might just be me though. But awesome guide, very helpful. I got extremely lucky with the banners this patch.

Even at level 40/tier 2 content, I often find myself soloing entire fight with just her + supports boosting her damage (Bronya and fox waifu's Skills). Kill one, reset turn, get energy boost to use ultimate, reset again...

Whats more broken is using her ult before anything if you know you can get a kill. because then you get to use a resurgence, normal turn, resurgence again. which means you get 75 percent of ur ult. and if you can get a new wave to come in after you can get another four moves.

Pulled Bailu out of my Beginner's banner and got Welt's Light Cone on 50th in standart... But oh man, thank god I got Seele. Something around 83 warps, damn I'm broke, but it's ok, I've already invested into my social credit with that monthly premium free warps subscription... Thank god the next character I want is like 2 months away

Got her in only a single 10 pull. Literally 3-4 pity. In the future she may and probably will be powercrept but thats basically every gacha game at some point. I got her to help me in my early game grind and solely cause of that. On that aspect. I. Have. No. Regrets.

Tbh, I pulled for her because she's pretty, a bit ornery, and I love her color scheme. Purple is my favorite color. I didn't know just how nasty she was until I wound up on Brax's video about builds because I had no idea what to put on her early in the game...
