If you guys wanna see how good he is, Cornflake has done a comparison between E0S1 Acheron with JQ + Pela and E2S1 Acheron with Pela + Sparkle in MOC (against Argenti). Both comps used 1 cycle (with sustain). The point about how he is only a massive improvement for one character does stand though. He's a sidegrade to RM in DOT (good if your RM is glued to a break team) and, while he's indeed better than Pela for Ratio, Pela is enough for now. E0S0 Jiaoqiu is however, on par with E1S1 Topaz for Ratio. So if you like Ratio but aren't a Topaz fan, I'd say it's definitely an option. Again, based on available showcases. I personally think he's worth a try if you have Acheron so I'm getting him in the end (despite being salty about him not being a healer anymore. Come on, his ult animation looks like he buffs his allies...)

He’s good and all but if you already have Silver Wolf and Pela I don’t really think you should pull for him unless you really love Acheron or want your ultimate on Acheron 2-3 turns early. I love my Acheron she’s probably the strongest character I have with her build and light come for F2P but with the upcoming banners I have to save for those 😂

8:13 feixiao is worse than boothill and firefly unfortunately, and lingsha is only about a 5% upgrade from Gallagher in a firefly team and in every other team she’s actually worse than Gallagher bc of her sp generation being quite mediocre, both 2.5 characters are rather quite bad currently and 2.5 is more of a skip patch than 2.4 tbh

I already have Acheron so I’ll probably skip wind Acheron and I already have Gallagher so I’ll probably skip Lingsha too, unless she turns out to have something really different about her. "the game isn't that hard", me as a week 1 player struggling to clear the latest version of end game content with max* and usually barely making it. If I didn't care about max stars, then, yes, the game is easy. This guy's problem is that he only supports 1 character, and that's Acheron. And, he isn't blowing the competition out of the water while doing it. That's why so many people don't like how he ended up as. You can make an argument that he buffs Dr. Ratio as well, but do not that his major buffs are for ult damage and Ratio does a lot with his follow ups. So, he is a very niche support. Unless you are a very big fan of Acheron which may or may not get power creep in the next 3 to 6 months, go for him otherwise, I'm seeing skipping as a better option for most of us

This isn’t true. He’s been shown to sometimes even be an improvement to topaz in some situations. He gives a 35% vulnerability and then an extra 15% ult vuln. It’s better for ults but 70% of his debuffing is available to every character, not just ult based character. He’s also a sidegrade to Ruan Mei in DOT

The unique and very powerful thing he and only he can do is applying debuff at the start of enemies turns, this turns out to overcap his "budget" since it pretty much put Acheron ulti charge on steroid so hoyo decide to tune him down. Personally I like a character that can slot into multiple type of team but the BIS of Acheron team is just hard to skip.

In sum, he is a very good pull at E0 and a sidegrade at E2. BiS for Acheron but not by a large margin, so if you clear content effectively now, he may not be a profitable pull unless you actually need the stacks he gives to Acheron.

It is by a large marge. Check out isummons video, he does the calcs and Jiaoqiu’s buffing is a lot higher than other characters, AND he gives much faster stacking

@@levi3248 I did check that one, but I just don't see it. Def reduction is never below 20% compared to DMG Vulnerability, so the damage won't be much different compared to Pela. Together they are the strongest sure, that's why for E0 Acheron is so juicy, but once you add in a harmony and E2, I doubt the difference will be that meaningful (though I am still eager on his next video exploring this). I am not saying he is bad or weak, but at the end of the day one must be mindful of where they put their pulls in. I don't want to waste my chances on him only to find out that I sacrificed Feixiao just so my Acheron could be "a little bit better" when she didn't really need it anyway. The debate is not about whether or not he is good or bad, but whether or not you are willing to waste your pulls on improving a team that, maybe, is already performing decently.

@@necasa4919 def reduction is never below 20% when you compare the same amount, but Jiaoqiu does provide more vulnerability than Pela does def reduction. At E0s0 he gives 50% whilst Pela gives 40% def reduction, and has 100% uptime on it with ease. But I get what you’re saying. I think people are underestimating the boost he gives Acheron, as well as other teams. People are saying he’s stuck in Acheron teams, but he’s been shown to be a sidegrade to Ruan Mei and robin in DOT, and even better than topaz in ratio teams depending on the situation. BUT if you’re looking for another DPS, or you’re not interested in improving your Acheron, then he would be a skip considering Feixiao is coming (although she looks kinda weak at the moment, hopefully she gets buffed in V3). I wouldn’t call him an overall skip, since his benefit for Acheron is crazy (it’s been shown that E0 Acheron + JQ clears at the same speed as E2 Acheron + sparkle) and he’s still really good for a lot of other teams, but he’s not the most needed character, especially if you don’t have Ruan Mei for example, or are lacking DPS, or just don’t feel the need to improve acheron
