SHOULD YOU REPLACE CALCHARO WITH XIANGLI YAO ? || wuthering waves

I picked Calcharo as my beginner char, and never managed to clear the last floor of any tower, despite multiple attempts over patch 1.1 and 1.2. I got Xingliao and beat Scar on Hazard Tower on my 1st attempt, and demolished Mourning Aix. I'm fully aware however that this is all due to my skill issue on not knowing how to play Calcharo optimally, Calcharo isn't a bad unit, he just legit requires skill, Xingliao is way more player friendly.

Yh Yao is calcharo in easy mode And i was disappointed cz of that because i play a lot calcharo but in the end i like both and i have good result with both Im around 5-10 secs faster with Yao but i need also more attemps with calcharo for a great run tbh

I am contemplating whether to use both Calcharo & XY as a quick swap dps team bc I don’t have Changli to do that with... I don’t know tho, I feel like it’ll be a lot of fun and that’s what I wanna go for but maybe I should wait?

In reality the only negative calcharo has compared to Xiangli yao is XY is a premium char so by Sequence 4 he pulls ahead of Calcharo in performance and he has a busted sig weapon which calcharo doesnt have anything to compare to, every other complaint is literally just a skill issue we can over come with practice.

I'm not gonna replace my Calcharo, tbh I find Xiangli Yao's gameplay boring and too direct. IMO, Calcharo's gameplay is much more fun and satisfying especially when you get used to his mechanics, Strategy and timing are clearly active in his play. Which means you need to pay more attention to your enemy and use your combo's in the right time. Calcharo makes me play more controlled and strategical kinda like playing a souls-like so I find it really fun :)) I'm not saying XY Sucks, he's also great but just too easy for me to use... his rotation is much more relaxed than calcharo so really great if you just want a chill play :D So overall, I think its just the player's preference. They're both great and strong in their own ways. Now if only Calcharo have a Sig weapon that's actually made for him with a great stats like of XY's....

Its all about preferences They are on an equal powerlvl Calcharo is a lot harder to master but i get almost same results with him Once he get an op 2h like yaos weapon, they are absolute same power

Ur right, But until that happens they are not on the same level. im saying that as a Calcharo main lol. And not even speaking about the longer ult duration, Yao's kit is just way better in terms of utility. His universal time slow that also affects bosses, His ult creates a vortex and pulls enemy on startup. Maybe Calch can close in on Yao's damage with a proper new broadsword in the future but I just see Yao winning pretty much in every situation. I wont stop playing Calch, I just play them both, EZ 30 Doritos :D

I started doing more damage within like 2 seconds with Xiangli Yao when I replaced him
