My %s for calculations like Weapons, Sequence Nodes, and Echoes will differ from Prydwen/other CCs because I've used different base stats for things like ATK/CR/CD. I mention the optimal endgame stats at 10:46 and used a number in those range for the calculations. Other calculations use much lower overall stats when running their numbers, making the difference between weapons or echoes a lot smaller. If there's less damage to add a bonus to, that lowers the range. This means that Camellya's weapon scales a lot more with additional substat investment than the standard 5*, which makes sense.

i'd love to see calculations for somnoire anchor, i've run some (double checked) and it seems to me that emerald genesis has more damage even when fully stacked (i multiplied base attack of both by all atk multipliers, and then multiplied by dps bonus of crit (cr multiplied by cd) and by my calculations and my camellya, it checks out to: 4260 - emerald genesis 3834 - somnoire anchor fully stacked base damage before multipliers of attacks and attribute. even unstacked emerald genesis has 4057 which beats fully stacked r5 somnoire anchor

She is so fun and satisfying to play. I personally don't like quick swap playstyle and really enjoy how straightforward she is. I managed to get S0R1 as F2P and I have never seen damage like this in my account and she isn't even maxed yet. Her forte nuke is litterally the coolest attack in the game.

Ikr. I love jinshi, and i know she is superior dps, but still after having both in account, jinshi feels a little slow as to trigger her nuke you have to do atleast 4 basic attacks to get to nuke, and these attacks are not that damaging, so feels like a little waste of time. But camellia’s nuke is just extra damage, her kit is not even dependent on nuke, all attacks before and after nuke are satisfying too. I love both jinshi and camellia. Btw camellia with and without sanhua is day and night difference. Without sanhua, if you switch to her without intro, forte is not full and you do less damage, plus nuke damage is 100k. With sanhua, sanhua just need to heavy attack 3 times, and her concerto is full, so we intro to camellia 100% of times, so her forte is always full, also nukes are available every rotation as consuming forte charges nuke, and nuke deals 200k damage. Its so great, really addicted to this playstyle now

I definitely welcome Camellia's playstyle. For the longest time, I've been using Yinlin + XLY because it discourages quick swap playstyle. I mean, quick swap looks cool and all but I can't get it right 90% of the time. That's why while I love Changli, I have to bench her for now because I can't get around the quick swap playstyle that suits her.

Comparing Camellya vs Jinhsi, both characters have a very similar DPS in calcs Jinhsi is a LOT easier to play with less room for error, and deals most of her damage in big bursts. It's easy to overkill enemies and 'waste' damage Camellya has a lot more complexity, especially in her actual on-field rotations as it's very easy for her to get hit and interrupted in her most damaging combos, but she has a lot more AoE and sustained damage It's hard to determine who is "better" from numbers alone; Jinhsi is a bit better IMO against bosses but Camellya dominates her in wave-based AoE content, like Jiyan. Like a lot of stuff in this game, go for who you like more. You'll get great results regardless!

After playing Camellya for a Considerable amount of time, I can say that she is a Very Powerful DPS... Possibly The Strongest if you play her right. Highly Effective, Crazy and Destructive but... Can only utilize this destructiveness if you play her the Correct Way. Even though she may seem complicated... Trying to get her Rotations Right is the Key...

yeap I feel like this is the case, I understand how her kit works but when I actually have to do the rotations myself I end up just fumbling around and swapping at the wrong times and sometimes to the wrong character lol. its demotivating since everyone seems to be playing her perfectly with no issue and I'm here taking much longer for the same rotations and getting hit every few seconds

@@budzee313 She's one of the only characters in the game (Changli is the first) that actively loses a massive amount of DPS if you press the wrong buttons at the wrong time. She's "simple" in some ways, like how you can just hold attack to do her most damaging combo, but very complex in others. You'll get the hang of it with more reps, but she has a big learning curve for sure.

Spectro is: time/movement constraints (even the Aix slows you after 3 hits) Aero: AOE, movement and efficiency Fusion: well... Damage... For rotations, found that double intro for Camellya does best. The simplified version: Support (Verina/Shorekeeper) > intro Camellya > Sanhua > intro Camellya. Using Camellya's skill into full combo and then skill or jump attack will generate full crimson buds and like 97 concerto. This allows her to stack crimson bud and swap into Sanhua and subsequently benefit from her outro for the full duration of her DPS phase. The caveat of this is that you need to build her concerto and consume forte without dodging, since that will fill her concerto to max. This means you have to tank hits or get lucky with attacks that doesn't break your combo string.

There might be some quickswap rotations before she enters budding mode, but her kit seems to be specifically designed to hog as much field time as possible. It's a stretch, in my opinion, just like playing Jiyan in quickswap.

PSA: This is on Kuro not you or any other guidemaker who stated this wrongly: Camellya does NOT CONTINUOUSLY CONSUME STAMINE TO STAY SUSPENDED IN THE AIR. I found it so weird that people kept saying that, I double checked it twice today and again just now before commenting because I thought I was going crazy, but I'm 100% sure tested in combat. Only when you dodge she consumes stamina, and she gets it right back! You can even see it in your own video 2:48.

She consumes stamina while she's in blossom mode above the ground Jump, then cast her skill - you'll consume stamina But if you cast her skill and then her liberation, you'll "be on the ground" and regenerate stamina normally. The wording is a little unclear since it doesn't clarify that you can "be on the ground" while in blossom mode.

Second thiss, while EoG is good it really made a big difference (in my case at least). When using EoG on her, she did around 100-120k when she use her budding bust. When I got her sig, it went up to around 190k.

the dmg diff between EoG and her signature is pretty bonkers, but damn imo her signature isn't even a must pull (especially if you want a 5* sig weapon that can go with other units) unless you really wanna invest everything into camellya. I've seen tower runs using and comparing both EoG and her sig, and there's roughly a 5-11 second gap between the timers. Using EoG allows for more burst spams as well and isn't too far behind her sig in terms of performance; it's also easily accessible 🔥 the main difference you'll spot is a dmg increase in her nukes - but again, she's perfectly usable and comfy with EoG and won't be too 'dehydrated and malnourished' without her sig. Thank goodness for that, I can save more funds 😔

I was able to test your theory of an ATK/HVC echo set being better for the 3 3 piece. I have S0 Camellya with her sig. I was able to get a hvc% 3 cost and a atk% 3 cost both with the same crit dmg amount. In a full rotation with S6 Sanhua and S2 Shorekeeper, my ephemeral dmg went from 293K to 310K, a similar increase was seen when casting my ult as well, 140K to 160K. I used the Feilian Beringal in the hazard zone for testing. My Camellya flat stats without any outside sources are the following : CR - 71, CD - 270. Attack varies from 2200 to 2600 depending on if I am using the atk% or hvc % echo. My atk% does have substats my hvc% echo does not have, basic atk% and an atk%.

I got S6R1 in 377 pulls, fully maxed out day 1 and just need to do a few upgrades to my echoes but overall shes' crazy. Highest number I've hit so far is 769k in the overworld.

I don’t agree that jinhsi is so much better than all of the other dps. All 4 damage dealers (jiyan xiangliYao jinhsi and camllya) all have very comparable damage. It’s just that when taken into combat, practical gameplay mechanics and ease of use being out more damage than the rest. Jinhsi is just so much easier to use and her defensive hax is why she is always able to squeeze out 100% of her dmg potential. For team wide damage, Xiangli Yao if played correctly out performs even the best Jinhsi team. So I don’t agree that certain dps are just better than others. All of them are kinda busted in their own way

Okay a few things to add on 1 the text for the first inherent skill is wrong, it actually gives 15% basic DMG boost, I'm not sure why the text is wrong but if you check you will see she has 15% more basic bonus than what your echos give. 2 idk if I do something wrong, but after an intro skill, she's placed in midair, and when I press normal atk expecting the slashes she does the same move as if jump was pressed instantly ending Blossom mode. 3 the stamina consumption from being suspended only happens if the ground isn't immediately under her, so you can float indefinitely if the ground is close, but if you try to use it to fly at high altitudes then you lose 5 stamina per second.

Prydwen runs different stats for their characters when comparing weapons. I calculated mine with a higher overall level of investment with more ATK/CR/CD compared to Prydwen's. This means that DMG% (like what's on camellya's sig) will have a much bigger impact on my numbers. Think about this way, the lower the base damage, the less there is to add a bonus to, so the difference is smaller. I mentioned in the video 'optimal' endgame stats and used stats in those ranges for the calculations.

We ran our own calculations for those numbers. When you input your own stats like CR/CD/ATK to better fit a realistic level of investment you'll get much different numbers than what websites like Prydwen show.

I only played Camellya at the Door Event but I am thinking, wouldn't YangYang and Verina be also pretty good team comp? Like for braking the shield and then you can - without thinking about dodging - bombard the enemy with attacks.

My sanhua and danjin are both fairly well invested, so gonna double down on them for camelya. Neither s6 though. Both s3, but can get aanhua to s4 with shop and maybe pull more danjins x3 in banner. Praying 🙏🏾 lol

Now my regret is not owning Shorekeeper's s1 since her Perennial can't deal the same damage if buff is gone by then Tip get her Concerto close to full back to shorekeeper get outro then Sunhua get outro then Camellya do her thing then get her Concerto once again close to full keep repeating this over and over to make use of her s6 Perennial with the buffs in existence otherwise you are in a shock like i was when it dealt alittle over 100k😂

my camellya is R0 with lvl 1 traces and bad stats build is still doing enough damage to kill things in map easily just spinning around. funny enough i made the first level of the fight event with her and she made more points than my R1 full trace jinhsi. Camellya AoE is insane. edit: probably because of emerald if Genesis i somehow got in 1 shot having only 5 left.

I'm not sure the early nodes are as good as it seems. They are adding the percentage to the DMG multiplier, not actually multiplying that percentage. So for node 2, you're adding 120% to a damage that's 1173.93% at skill level 9, so that's really less than 10% of the damage of that one hit. And the same goes for the other nodes. While each of the nodes provide a decent buff, I don't think there's any significant buff until node 6.

I was kinda scared she'll become next jiyan, with little to no nuance and braindead playstyle, but thankfully she has a lot of skill expression to maximise her rotations. Enough to keep a quickswap nerd like me happy 😊 Also thank god the free weapon is as viable as emerald genesis, now danjin can get the genesis in tandem with camellya (which is kinda funny to use 4 star on main dps and 5 star on sub dps, but hey, that's unique and very healthy for the game)

I am kinda confused since 70% of her dmg is from basic atks and most of her atks in the skill blossom or budding modes are considered basic atks why normal atk talent is the least prioritized?

Im curious about Danjin and Sanhua. Does both of them use The Moonlit set? Or Danjin use Havoc set? Im still curious wether Danjin or Sanhua better. Because let's think of this. If you use Sanhua, that means you only have to focus on Basic attack. No Liberation. If Danjin, i actually dont really know how to say this, but Danjin increase all Camellya's DMG.

I got her and know how to use her with perfect team, but a bit confused on her cost 3 echo. Now i know hovoc + atk are the best, I build double attack on cost 3 and of course her dmg are crazy, but i feel like something is missing when she dance with her team, her dmg seems like off compared to havoc + atk set. Now my camellya are the same level as my havoc nuking Rover. She is a very powerful dps just like rover, and she was S0 !
