Interesting. I'm a multi-Eisner and Joe Shuster nominated cartoonist with a 170 page GN in the can. I'm new to crowdfunding so this is all very interesting. Thanks. I'll check out your other videos.

Robert Walton awesome, Robert! The archive here on KZbin is growing, but if there’s a specific topic or question you’re looking for help on, I may be able to point you to some resources that’ll help.

Tyler! Great to catch you on KZbin!! A friend of mine turned me on to your podcast and I've been devouring the episodes day and night. Anyway, I'm aiming to take a 3rd stab at funding my hero comic Intrepid later this year. Gotta get my house in order first. Your podcast has be a Godsend and i hope to make the 3rd time a charm. Thanks for all the help!

I have an upcoming webcomic series I could run 5 or 6 Kickstarters to get printed as single issues. My only concern is, posting out back issues for subsequent launches could get pricey- I'm located in Australia. At the moment I'm relying on Krakenprint in the US to fulfill Kickstarters for US backers, which significantly reduces postage cost. (I organised a dual shipment from Taiwan) I could always organise a fulfillment centre in the US to warehouse back issues, but I'm afraid this could get pricey over the long term! It could be worth checking out, though.

Remember... YOU are in control, Rene. Every challenge also provides an opportunity. And know that for good books, people understand that it may cost a little more to get their hands on them. So don't make people's decisions on how much is too much to pay for international shipping for them.

Hello Tyler I am preparing my second campaign attempt on kickstarter. The first was an utter failure due to me launching an incoherent project. The new project's mother issue is 22 pages long. The following issues are 3-6 pages long. It's very difficult to find freelance illustrators and comic creators to work on serial 21 page issues, but it also helps with budget. Will supporters feel cheated? Has anyone used this formula before? Thank you Richard

Hey, Richard... I'm having trouble picturing what a 3 page issue looks like? (The minimum # of pages to print a book is 4 pages, after all.) I generally find that adopting formulas that you've never seen anyone successfully implement is a bad idea. But that doesn't mean there isn't a way to make it work. Would love to have you jump into my upcoming ComixLaunch Kickstarter Challenge so I can give you a bit more direct coaching on this... and so you can get some feedback on your ideas from more creators.
