In my 7th decade, I admit I first watched this video on this 8th-gen iPad. Inspired by the above question you put to us, I watched this one again on my iPhone 6S. Watched this one AGAIN on the 13 Mini. I really appreciate the pacing and editing of your videos now that I really looked and saw the care you take in making these. I’m most blown away that I can catch so many details on the 13 Mini that I can’t on the 6S. The iPad is big enough for these old eyes to catch even more, but in a pinch, an Apple iPhone gets the job done, too.

I’ve had the iPhone 12 for 4 months and it runs very smooth. It can game easily and the camera is pretty good compared to the next generation 13.

Last year, I went from the iPhone 7 to the XS, while my kids went from the X to the 13 Pro. I'm really not a fan of the weight of their phone. I'll probably stay with XS until Apple stops giving it the latest iOS, at which point I'm seriously considering swapping to a 13 Mini. It'll most likely be 2nd hand, but I really can't see Apple reintroducing a Mini - unless the next SE uses the discontinued size. Thanks for the vid!

@@Vyper71 I love my XS, and made the conscious decision not to get the X or XR - the latter was never an option, due to its lower spec. I had to use an iPhone 6 for a month late last year (don’t ask!), which is when I decided my next iPhone would be the size of the 13 Mini. If you’re looking at iPhones in the X range, I’d definitely consider the XS - or XS Max if the size is better for you.

honestly the 12. If you have a low budget then get them both 12s, depending on the pricing of the phones, the 13 can be a better deal but idk the prices you’re seeing That being said both phones aren’t that much different & are basically the same but the 13 does have better battery life tho either way everything else on the 12 is still reliable & works good. Battery life would be good for them both especially if they don’t care for more gimmicky features

The peak brightness is 1200 only with HDR content. Typical max brightness is only around 600, which isn’t that bright. I’m using one now and it can be difficult to see in direct sunlight and overcast days

Excellent video. Got one 2 years ago and still rolling...smooth and fast and, no complain at all so far. Iphones are absolutely amazing phones....been an Adroind user all my life and Iphone user since 5/6 years ago..once you get into IOS eco-system, there´s small chance of going back.
