Good review video, JR! Change from a 2012 CRV and still find the x50 MILES ahead in terms of ability, power and gadgets. Already 20 months old. Yes, will not know whether it will last. If only Proton listen to complains - There is a THUD when depressing the brake, the wind noise from the mirrors from 80kph, knocking sounds agsinst the car body, the HELLO PROTON function, cranky. Pobably as a 3 pot car the start/stop of the engine is rough. Buy overall, i agree with you that it is a valued car and becos of the x50 the others have to equip thier new cars with better safety and technical features and all the bells and whistles.

Was waiting for the new HRV. But after their price range were discussed I think HRV is not worth the price for the sake of the brand. Harga untuk putera raja kayangan tapi Sun roof pun pakai clip-on LOL. So i revisited this video to make final decision. Hmmmmmm... harap Proton will improve their aftersale service considering this car has alot to offer

Jr tats why actually i got a bit doubt also haha, im actually also considering Honda Hrv, well as we know tho hrv is not as high tech as x50 but its still a good looking car with great spaces and less tech to worry bout, most importantly the reliability worr hahaha. Geely own Volvo, so I'm not surprise it look a bit like Volvo. After Geely took over Proton, Proton have been doing great! No longer a failure and dull design. Damn sensor built into the wiper? That's some high tech stuff, I didn't know that! Great car videos ya as always!

Its rain sensor and operates with windscreen vibration when it rains, awesome stuff. The flip side on a hot day you start car with AC and wipers go off, due to sudden contraction and vibration of windshield (u obviously cant see that vibration lo)

For fresh graduate who has nothing, I'll advice not to do so.. Wait till u have a stable financial resources.. Go for a small cheap car for a nice starter.. The maintenance, fuel consumption is a little bit harsh.. Of course you can ignore my advice if you're already financially stable

Cant decide if I want the x50 flagship or the city sedan rs, the hatchback is a bummer for me, since the rear head space is bad and boot space is smaller than yaris plus more expensive than the sedan.

It's more like Mini SUV vs Hatchback cars, big difference in terms of handling, ride comfort, ride height, interior storage capability. That only you can answer which one you prefer 😊

I was deciding between these 2 options, end up choosing city rs for Apple carplay (main reason, coz I don't want to put my handphone on the dashboard to navigate the map anymore), reliability, after sales, fuel saving, and auto headlamp feature (X50 don't have it)

Dropped my booking for X50 Flagship (waiting list too long, and SA was too pushy and deceitful), and went for the "New" Peugeot 2008 instead. Test drove both, ride comfort and handling goes to 2008, while power ever so slightly goes to X50. Features memang X50 menang hands down lah. Here's to hoping that Bermaz would do Peugeot justice, after Naza bastardised it.
