Would be useful to use actual data and examples to specify what we are looking at when we monitor HR during exercise. Are we talking about 92--95% 1RM 2-4 reps strength training? Are we talking about using HR as a proxy to gauge how much our phosphocreatine system have recovered? It's a bit vague.

Corpse are being vague intentionally, doesn’t matter what you are doing tracking your HR response to it can be beneficial.
