Similar to earlier question, will the glue hold fast for an overhead application, interior, but right next to a window with direct sun coming through during the summertime? Obviously, the material will get quite hot, and be "hanging" by the glue, as it's upside down. This application would be 2 inch wide strips.

We've only done a couple ceiling wraps, but have never had an issues. Surface prep is important - level 5 smooth, completely sealed and off-gassed before wrapping. If you're still concerned, you can order samples (usually come 5.5" x 8") and do small tests.

@@RMwrapsllc This application would potentially be on satin finished, smooth teak wood trim. At this time it has UV issues in the clear coat, and the DI-NOC might be a solution to cover this up, as it would be very difficult to completely strip and refinish. But I worry about the hot temps right next to the window, with the sun pouring in.

Hey Randy, I love your videos - very informative and detailed. Can you pls help me understand how is that Di-Noc have warranty of 10yrs. but shelf live is only 2yrs and starts cracking? Also, do you have Bodaq films and can you do a comparison video between Di-Noc and Bodaq? Thanks and many blessings!

Would this be suitable for a high temperature surface in an exterior application?? Temperatures going over 50deg celsis.

Only 3M Di-Noc "Exterior" patterns are rated for exterior use (patterns ending in EX, i.e. FW-236EX) www.rmwrapsstore.com/collections/3m-di-noc-films-exterior Any other patterns in the catalog that are not marked EX do not have the extra durability coating applied, and thus aren't rated/approved for exterior use. Using any non-EX pattern in an exterior application would be at your own risk.

@@RMwrapsllc thank you so much! Are there any particular ones you would recommend for surfaces that get 50deg plus temp.

@@TheGauravphogat 3M doesn't give a "max rated performance temperature," they only give a max temperature for the application process, and an expected life/warrantied time period depending on what part of the country you're in. You can read all that info in this document: multimedia.3m.com/mws/media/1230021O/3m-di-noc-drywall-preperation-installation-guidelines.pdf
