Should You Use a No Contest Clause In Your Last Will Or Trust

I think they help especially for executors. People have creative thoughts on what is theirs, this keeps the executor protected as long as he is following the instructions of the written will.

As of July 1, 2018, no contest provisions in Wills and Trusts are enforceable in Indiana.

I have not heard anything closer to addressing that someone coerced the 'no contest' because they did something slanted(... something that gives them an unfair angle ). How it could be used to take that share.

This has been told to me that this will be the case. One month after my father passed my sister took my mother to "help her with planning her will sinceour mother was given 6 months to live 2 weeks prior. Now my sister is power of attorney over the estate which is now papered as an Irrevocable Trust and I and my fiance were told that their is a No Contest Clause and are not allowed to to see the new terms of the family trust of which just some months ago I was entitled to 1/3 as we're the other two of my siblings. After caring for our father a WW2 vet and amazing man for the last almost 2 years and our mother and after .... We re homeless living from a Toyota Tacoma. I never asked to be paid and never got a straight answer as to why I was made to with my partner to hide in the garage when nurse would visit. I now know it is because my sister was his Primary care give with full benefits . She didn't spend 1 full day with him in that time, except when she was remolding her home and needed. Palace to stay. She was on vacation when he passed which was a blessing because if she was around we were not allowed in the house and had to stay in the small garage in the Nevada winter if she was around because she doesn't ir hasn't spoken with me this entire time and doesn't want to . She did however bring her son of 7 years to be cared for 5 to 6 days a week and often over night for 4 months straight out fathers health declined . We loved our father and learned a lot about Sun Downers Syndrome. We also took care of her aging dog for the last 8 months if it's life and our mother with stage 4 cancer who has only weeks left now to live and I am no longer allowed to see her as there is now a restraining order against me and my sister is not allowing for any contact by phone from myself or my fiance. This is life right now and it's is breaking my heart and no one cares.
