Scott, you've got the best detailing videos online!! Better than the big brands we use are putting out for sure!! I've been a car nut for about 20 years owning over 100 cars but I've just recently got into the professional level of detailing. The past 4 months I've probably watched over 100 hours of videos by professionals and brands. Your demos and explanations, while sometimes a bit long winded, are absolutely the most helpful I've found. Thanks and keep it up please! From Los Angeles.

My dad never taught me how to do this. Anytime I picked up a tool or wanted to tinker with my own car I’d be told I was going to ruin something. Now that I’m on my own, I have the freedom to do whatever I want. I learned a lot of things from this video. Thank you. Trying to search harbor freight but can’t find their store-branded tool you recommend. Granted it’s 2020 now. I’ll check out your other videos to see if you talk about proper DA sanders to choose for detailing purposes. :)

Thanks for all videos and tips and instruction. Detailed my first car, my own 2017 Honda using products and procedures you use. Super Clean to wash the car tires and wheels. Chemical Guys original clay bar, Meguairs fast finish liquid wax with a Porta Cable DA, diluted Super Clean for the interior, diluted VRP on the dash and interior trim and door panels, and full strength VRP on the tires, next time I’ll cut it a little to get a matte finish. Citrol on the front chrome and bumper and on all glass to get rid of bugs. Lake Country 5.5 foam pads. I just used a white pad. Since it was my first time I didn’t want to use a cutting wax until I get the hang of it and more confidence in what I’m doing. Playing it safe for now. Tomorrow I’ll detail my 2016 Ford PU. Thanks again Chemical Guys Glass Works for all windows inside and out. Everything worked great 👍🏼 Thanks again

I just discovered your channel and am bingewatching, lol. I like your no nonsense, no BS approach. If we lived in the same area I'd hire you to do my car. Not necessarily because it needs it or I'm too lazy to do it myself, but to watch you in action and learn. There's no way I could ever get all your experience by myself since I'm a weekend warrior and only have two cars in my "fleet" to play with. But I do love to see rough paint turn great before my eyes, even if I tend to "overthink" stuff and get confused by watching the multitude of conflicting how-to videos on KZbin. Keep up the good work.

For me it depends on the customer. I have one regular, she insists that I hand wash and hand wax her car... Hose pipe no jetwash, hand wax no machine polishing. Its a noise thing, coz when I detail the other cars in the household theres no such stipulation but she will leave as I arrive. She's the one paying me and shes happy with the result.
