DejaVoodooDoll which means he pretty much writes the scripts. While I know she gives input to the jokes, the scripts overall structure and pacing is all his work. And more importantly, he does all the editing of the video. Meaning, all the punch lines, cut awaya, and references - are all his work. Again, she plays an important part. She’s the actor presenting the narration and giving it flair. She is the comedic timing of the delivery. But I don’t think it’s accurate to say she co-writes the scripts, if she isn’t writing even half of it. Also people would be shocked at how long a script is for a video like this. It takes a lot of planning.

Matt is a genius. His scripts are amazing. As is his editing. I don’t think I’ve seen a better editor than him. The way he finds references and knows when to cut to them, is just spot on. People need to realize that writing a script for a video like this, is actually really hard. Even if you are given notes of a persons opinion, making that into a story/ a script is extremely hard. He has insane talent.

Also, if anyone is interested, the depiction of Ancient Greece in this game is fantastic. Even down to the language, they use actual classical Greek with distinct dialects like lakonian and attic depending on what city/region you're in (though they do not use reconstructed pronunciation, and pronounce it more like medieval Greek for some reason). The look and feel of Ancient Greece is totally on point as well. This is 100% what Ancient Greece looked like based on eye witness accounts, artwork, and archeological/anthropological evidence. Source/Credentials: Got my degree in ancient European history and another degree in Classics because, hey, who needs employments when you can talk extensively about Homeric odes?

The first videos you guys made that I saw was for borderlands 2. I clicked on it because that was the game I convinced my gf to play to get her into gaming. It was our first game together and the first time she felt like she was actually the shit at video games. All the first time moments that you described felt like an in depth account of our own experience. How? I got 60 hours and I am not even halfway through. I'm soon lvl 50, any tip on how to mainline just the bigger sidequests like the one where you help a rebellion with the daughter of a cultist, and actual main quests? I got the gear and build I want for my playstyle. I've even traveled to most of the places to unlock fast travel. It's just that I do one quest and 5 more show up, I have finished countless quests without even knowing that I have picked them up :p I really like getting into a groove with certain of the side quest that builds up and has a story pay off. But it's hard to tell if it's just a useless fetch quest sometimes or if there is an actual story to be had there before you finish those initial meetings.

@@Bacbi My method was kind of see where the next main mission is, go around to all surrounding viewpoints, then run around and clear all ? on the map near the main mission until each area is fully cleared. Then I would progress story. But not everyone likes to play like I do. You might hey burned out doing it my way, so I just recomend playing it however you enjoy, and you can always just go back and finish everything off post story.
